  • This brings me back to how vast and sprawling a space like a mall or grocery store can be when you're a child. I also like how the "entrance/exit portion played out. Superb content!
  • @saivi27
When I was a child, lying in the bed, I loved imagining being trapped in a huge shopping mall after it's closed, and thinking about where should I hide to protect myself from the ghosts wandering there at midnight. THIS gives me a strong sense of nostalgia. An experience I've never had yet I missed a lot😭I just can't stop myself repeating it again and again! Thanks for the wonderful work!!!
  • @MistressSuki92
for those wondering what the person over the speaker was saying, “we would like to advise those shopping with us now once again, do not attempt to reach the exits. either find a safe area or go into one of the many evacuation shelters inside the-”

One of the scariest things I've ever watched (I'm 69yrs old) - made the mistake of watching in bed, lights out, before falling asleep...
  • This was absolutely terrifying. Incredible work. The tools around the exit door was a sign that there was no escape, as other wonderers would have tried to use such tools to exit. The fact that trying to exit the shopping mall of this level leads to the release of the entity was smartly done. 10/10!

This is one of my favorite backrooms videos. It felt so cozy but yet so creepy and haunting. Especially love the idea of the exit door part!

Four months ago I came across this video for the first time. It is the reason why I decided to learn 3D software and animation. I thought "what the hell, what's my excuse? Why am I not making this myself?" After all I'm a smart guy and I want to make people feel the way i just felt with this video. Long story short, I already have two AMAZING "maps" for backrooms videos that I hope I can publish soon (an epic rendition of lv.94 and a never before animated negative level)... I just have to get some animation stuff right :) Thanks for the endless inspiration, and for helping me fight my laziness and learn something beautiful.

Before the place gets dark and the entity appears, this video reminds me of late 2000s supermarket trips at night and it gives this sense of long lost nostalgia.

I'm not sure as to exactly why, but the fullness of the shelves instills an eerie mix of both comfort and fear unto me. The ending of this video is a perfect example of the phrase "don't bite the hand which feeds you" (pun intended). It's a shame the wanderer made such an absurd decision, given the amount of forensic evidence there was near the "exit". Overall, the video is amazingly produced!

As someone who used to work at a grocery store...one that is never ending is pure nightmare fuel
  • @RedBounty
This is truly remarkable work, bravo. I just discovered this genre that basically recreates my dreams. Nothing this scary but the walking around malls, strange buildings, and offices. The idea that so many people share these visions, dreams, and nightmares is incredible to me.

As someone who's worked in a grocery store, this would be my version of Hell.
  • This is definitely one of the greatest backrooms found footages i have seen so far. the song choice was perfect and it gave the what seems to be normal grocery store an uneasy feeling like something was wrong. The setting felt so familiar and yet so unfamiliar at the same time it caused an interesting effect. The exit doors being sealed shut and even giving the person tools to show there really is no escape although it seems so close was a great move. And the entity at the end really got to me, how the crys were so distorted and loud. this was great work and underrated!

Being an assistant manager of a grocery store, this was horrifying for me!! Very good, terrifying video! It reminded me of when some storms came through last week and the power went off in the store during the night shift. The whole store was pitch black for a while and all you could hear was thunder, heavy rain, and random voices......very unnerving. What's better is that i'm watching this before bed!!!! Fun times!! 😳
  • @FreezinUrTundra
3:10 He didn't get the hint of what happened to the other people who ended up there that tried to leave, and by force at that. You think the dried blood would've been the big hint to them...
  • @ctrlskyy
The fact that you can see the light as the monster gets closer and closer.. and the quietness.. it’s just so unnerving and I love it!
  • @Lone_Paladin
As a manager at Kroger, the truly terrifying thing about this video is imagining trying to keep a store this size fully stocked and straightened. 😮
  • @Lizzylove6073
I love the detail of the music being happy and off key, more noticeably during some moments more than others. ( I like that detail cause’ it gives a sort of unpredictability) I think this is a better take on music in the backrooms than the usual more ambient songs. Those don’t scare me, and I think it’s because they make it sound lonely and like you’re not supposed to be there, but we already know that so it sort of ruins the effect ( some even make me feel almost relaxed ). But with the happy music, the happiness and offkeyness really unsettles me. It almost feels like the level is trying to act human, if that makes any sense. It’s trying to seem normal, but it turns out to just be alien like and unsettling. Great job!

When the lights went out, first thing i would've done is hide behind that counter just to his left. Standing out in the open in the middle of complete darkness was really dumb
