I like how sonic, despite being the fastest out of all of them, is the last of the characters to run off screen from EXE. It’s almost like he wants to ensure that everybody gets out fine, he knows that he could’ve easily dusted everyone and be the first one out, he knows he could’ve saved himself first, but he wanted all of his friends to get out first so that if it does happen, that someone couldn’t get out in time, he could ensure that that unlucky person was him by being the one at the end of the pack. And that speaks volumes on Sonic’s character.
