What Fntastic pulled off was a LONG CON....It began with the first trailer.....they are criminals and need to be ordered to give back all monies. The game is fake...they deserve nothing from it. They should also be imprisoned for this.

One big problem with the gaming industry is this "Early access"-Problem ( If you have to pay for it ). Like Todd Howard said "It's not about how the game is released. It's about what it becomes" And that's the main Problem. AAA- Dev's/Pub's have been doing this for years and the playerbase is fine with it. Was only a matter of time when this abuse is picked up by others. So we got here. But as long as there are many gamers who are fine with this it won't change.

From someone who works in the industry, I'm of two minds. I totally understand the frustration of receiving a bad game, even if you get a refund it sucks that you aren't going to be able to play something you're stoked about. I also understand that like Fntastic says, there is SO much work that goes into games and I think it's possible that without good leadership they ended up making a lot of mistakes in terms of what to prioritize for launch etc. I didn't play TDB, but it must've been horrible for this response from everyone.

What’s even funnier is there’s a whole damn pastebin out there where someone shows off all the assets the company bought, flipped and then showed off as their own. A lot of these were purchased around October of 2022 as well. I can’t post the link (YouTube automod) but it’s out there I think. this was their plan. they thought they could make a fake game, steal a fuckton of money, and bail when it gets too hot in the kitchen.

The cost of the asset flip is around 4-5k dollars. There's a reddit post detailing all the assets and their costs. Either way, absolutely everything surrounding TDB4 was fake, cringe, shady, scammy and absolutely weird. Glad to see they went under, however they'll rebrand and do this again in the future like they did it in the past. When it comes to the lawsuit - highly unlikely they can be touched in Russia right now... My only hope is they never create another game with some fake trailers, cause scamming is in their blood and again there would be a ton of people who will fall for their BS...

I watched Bigfry cover this and never bought into it because of him. When the game released and it proved how bad it was, i knew the gates were about to flood. especially after the devs put out messages about them not being a scam and about them proving the "haters" wrong as a last ditch effort to lock in purchases.
