Wow, as a hotel lover I must say luxury hotels in China are way better than those in Europe and America, the size of room is more spacious generally starting from 45 sqm, the interior design is much better, as most of luxury hotels in China are in the newly-built building, you are more likely to enjoy panoramic views of cities with floor-to-ceiling windows, the construction standard in Asia is the highest, not to mention, always offer you the greatest value, much cheaper than Western luxury hotel. For example, take a look at Park Hyatt Paris (1500 euro per night with only 30sqm for regular room and very bad interior and view ) and Park Hyatt Hangzhou(only 350 euro, but 55s for regular room and you can enjoy panoramic view of the city on the high-rise buildings. So my genuine tips for hotel is never choose luxury hotel in the Europe and America, itโ€™s not worth of money at all!!!

There is always free breakfast in most good hotels in China unlike western hotels where you have to pay for it. The food in high end Chinese hotels is always out of the world.

$400 is so reasonable to have such massive hotel rooms!! And so good service, which I donโ€™t think anywhere else would provide. Actually $400 per night here in Australia, there is no way you can get anywhere a decent room during holiday season.

Not $400 for one night of hotel but 24 hours at a 5-star resort for two people, including all you can drink and all you can eat meals (fine dining dinner) and a tour of the flower market. How wonderful! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Cant believe u guys visit my hometown! so sad I cant be ur tour guide cuz Im in Toronto now. Go Wuyi Rd station and explore the area, its the city centre and you can find old blocks there Shilin, Jiuxiang, Cuihu, Minzucun also worth a visit. the flower market u visited is the second largest flower market in the world, Kunming have unique climate that very suitable for growth flowers. For food, just advice, Kunming have lots of unique foods that u wont find outside of Yunnan, try those things you never see before, including four types of rice noodle acturally lots of local food are provided in ur hotel but u guys missed them, like 48:10 its one of the unique food from Kunming called shaoerkuai Welcome to Kunming and enjoy your trip! :)

Life's a journey , enjoy !!! Hope more & more westerners visit the real China. I'm disgusted at how often western media & politicians portray China in a very negative light. From S'pore ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

Wow, what a luxurious hotel. It feels like a palace. The lighting is very intelligent. Hotels with the same price in Europe won't get such a good view and room, and Europe is just an ordinary room. The hotel also provides free food, which is impossible in Europe. It's hard to imagine, is this poor China? Western media always say that China is poor and backward, has no human rights, and has been in collapse. The flowers in the flower market are beautiful, and I like them very much. I am in a good mood when I see flowers.
  • Great show, at a flick of my mind, I envisioned Shannon and Alan at 80 years old and talking about the experience here, an incredible journey of life. No matter what, it's worth it

Marriott (Bonvoy) brand in Asia never disappoints. They are cheaper and nicer than the same Marriott hotels in the US and in Europe.
  • @drbanana4993
u two walking around your palace with your flowery crowns was sooo funny. Happy days!!!!!! loving the vids guys.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Give Steven and Crystal a raise already!
  • @abirbo
Crystal and Steven certainly deserve a bonus!!
  • @qicui9461
One thing to add this is just Sheraton๏ผŒand just realize you booked itโ€™s executive suite, not wonder you said it is 400 dollars, but actually itโ€™s base room only cost 100 euro with 40 sqm much bigger than its UK counterparts. Next time let me know if you want to visit a luxury hotel in other Chinese cities as it will give you completely different and unprecedented experiences in your life!! With much much more affordable price compare to Europe
