Hugh Laurie is a gem that must be protected at all cost.
  • I recall Stephen Fry saying that Emma Thompson was in love with Hugh during their time at school. She said he was the most beautiful man she'd ever seen. I think that was so sweet.
  • @rointo
Seth's mom being a Jeeves and Wooster fan is completely perfect.
  • @nightwatchmd
I still worship his performance on Black Adder. Amazing actor!
  • Of everything Mr Laurie has done, the Jeeves and Wooster series gives me the greatest enjoyment. Thank you.

What a gent. So much talent & self effacing humor. I can always listen to Laurie.

I’m impressed that Seth has watched the “Young Ones “. Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson at their finest. Makes you proud to be British. 🇬🇧
  • @bruce8443
Fry and Laurie were great as Jeeves and Wooster!

Jeeves and Wooster was my introduction to Fry and Laurie. Love them both.

The man is a class actor and musician. Always a delight to watch! Fry , Laurie and Thompson together can just take over the world. What a gift.

hugh laurie is so humble by passing the Footlight as some small college gig... Footlight, the historic theatre club where most of Monty Pythons were, had contemporary legends such as David Mitchell, Sue Perkins, Richard Ayoade, and Simon Bird as presidents. what a legend

I'm with Seth and his mom, I love Hugh's comedy - Blackadder, Fry and Laurie, and Jeeves and Wooster will always be some of my favorite shows.
  • Most of my friends: "Hey look, it's Doctor House." Me: "Row row row your boat, Gently down the stream, Belts off! Trousers down! Isn't life a scream? Whoa!"
  • @cobrasys
What a delightful human being Hugh Laurie is. Great interviewee and a great storyteller, too.
  • @sara8614
Seth is such an anglophile! Love it. And nice to see Hugh Laurie again, charming as always
  • @Edninety
Oh well, after that delightful conversation it's time to rewatch Hugh Laurie on Craig Ferguson again
  • @Learbeer
this is so cute! Seth is so in love with Hugh

Hugh had a supporting role in Emma's movie "Sense and Sensibility." Ms. Thompson starred, and wrote the Oscar-winning screenplay.
  • I grew up in the UK and even though they only did I think 3 series of a bit of Fry and Laurie spread out over 5 or 6 years the sketches are timeless and the chemistry between them is obvious that you can tell they love each others company in real life. I cling to the hope that one day they might reunite for 1 more series once Covid is over
