The Washington Post has reported that the U.S. has deployed 12 warships in the Middle East following tensions over the assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh. The fleet reportedly includes aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, amphibious assault teams and over 4,000 American marines and sailors. Destroyers have also been positioned in both Persian gulf & eastern Mediterranean. The report added that the U.S. has reportedly redirected its warships from the Red Sea. Watch for more details.
