Boxer Gervonta Davis, a Baltimore native, is investing in the block he grew up on. The area of Sandtown-Winchester is largely abandoned and filled with vacant homes. Davis recently bought two buildings on Woodyear Street. He said his plan to to rehab those homes and eventually convert the entire block into affordable housing.
