TMNT: Mutant Mayhem was a total GARBAGE, and here's why I think so:
No - 1, The Ninja Turtles were like four peas in a pod. Seriously, they all had the same vibe, acted the same, and even their lines were interchangeable. You could swap out any line with any other Ninja Turtle, and it wouldn't make a difference. Boring!
No - 2, The script felt like it was written by a -year-old trying to be all 'cool' with cringe-worthy references to Tik Tok and Shrek. It's like they tried too hard to be hip.
No - 3, They kept beating a dead horse with the whole "milking" the Ninja Turtles and April "vomiting" thing. Not only was it not funny the first time, but they also made it a running gag. Come on, get some new material!
No - 4, Splinter's lines sounded like Jackie Chan was half-asleep on a Zoom call, doing everything in a single take. Talk about phoning it in!
No - 5, April's character was pretty much useless throughout the movie. She had zero impact on the plot until they awkwardly shoehorned her into the ending. Her one defining trait was wanting to be famous and 'go viral.' How relatable... not.

  • The funny thing is that during an interview the director of the movie stated that he wanted the movie to feel like it was made by a teenager

"The script felt like it was written by a 12 year old." I bet the director is very happy with this comment since that's exactly what the goal was.
  • So you don’t like it when the TEENAGE mutant ninja turtles act like TEENAGERS.

Leo is a LOT more kinda strict and daddy's boy than the rest of them. They have their own personalities and they do NOT act like the same people at ALL. Raphael is more angry, Mikey is more skateboard cool dude, Donnie is more tech like and Leo is strict leader. They have their own unique personalities

To be fair, the first Ninja turtles movie also had a bunch of dated 80’s and 90’s movie and tv references. Like that was half of Michelangelo’s comedy.
  • @dbradl79
Dude is hating the movie because the TEENAGE mutant ninja turtles are acting like TEENAGERS

Is it just me or does "written by a 12 year old" sound like a vague criticism? There's a reason why most professional critics don't say "this was written by a 12 year old"

  • @xblade149
Bro thought he cooked but got ratioed in a YouTube comment section
  • "April's one defining trait was to be famous and go viral. How relatable not." Omg that's totally true. It's not like during the rise of social media teenagers and even adults entire goal was to make the most friends and followers and be popular based on it. It's totally not like shows.like I Carly made kids want to go viral on the internet.
