Didn't they say it's zoned heavy industrial? If you build a house and your neighbor builds a factory.........
  • @jimgreene4923
If the area is zoned heavy industrial, then residents need to address these issues with their planning department. From the video I see nothing they are doing is wrong & are they supporting your local economy?

They live on a dirt road and are complaining of dust from a buisness?

"intentionally fake coughing" i am diagnosed with something called um..... ummm.... because of whats been going on here for such a short amount of time. yet i stand here with no clear respiratory distress and im not taking any measures to protect myself from the dust and not wearing a mask and im standing outside with no issues

People MUST realize that our infrastructure has its' origins in places like this. If these places didn't exist, we'd be riding on horse trails and crossing logs for bridges. These places MUST be allowed to operate. If you don't like the inconveniences, DO NOT move next to these places...PERIOD.
  • Well maybe those people should have checked into the local zoning before buying houses out there. And you can't tell me that a little stink from the landfill doesn't blow over when the wind is right. It's impossible to please all of the people all of the time. And people don't have any right to tell another they can't run a business on land the State gives them the privilege of holding title to. As long as they aren't poluting the land and ground water. And every single person who bought residential property out there knew this could happen. Maybe go after your developer instead. But only if you were mislead during the sale.

Crybabies....they buy a house in an industrial area, then complain about industry.
  • @adamn7516
This is 7 years ago. What is the current situation there?
  • When they crush the concrete water is used to prevent dust, I live near one in Macomb County, we have no probloms with them.
  • @starxlr7863
Well if the area has always been zoned as commercial and has a landfill, I don't see much of a problem. The dust in the air is annoying but is not harmful. Maybe someone else has more insight on this?? And the company is doing their part in trying to keep things clean and maintained for the residents and the township.
  • Did they not check to see if the area was zoned "heavy industrial" before moving there? Don't move to industrial areas and you won't have this type of problem. They're even being nice about the dust, I mean come on.
  • @ICUNA22
Who was there first? Did you buy into the community without checking zoning?
