Just like my previous video all of these kits are pure speculation.

I forgot to put the Sheldon's logo on the thumbnail picks :(

  • If every brella got 3rd kits, they’d all still suffer from poor net code. Also, comedy option: Tentabrella with mist and zipcaster.
  • @Cornyone
I'm someone who has recently picked up recybrella and I think the real problem is the ink efficiency. The kit you gave it still solves one of its problems and will make it more scary than the .52 which would be its biggest competitor.
  • @googer_spl
i love the videos so far! its very clear that you're putting a good amount of thought into them and i look forward to more ^^ Personally, I'd like to see what you would do with brushes, i'm a guilty inkbrush enjoyer haha
  • As someone who's 4-starred every brella and plays them in competitive I generally like all these kits and wouldn't be mad with any of them, but just some notes: Recycled brella is currently the fastest and most agressive brella. It's shield is a major flaw, but if it can get reliable combos then it's still completely usable as mainly a movement tool, which is why I think bubbler, and by extension wall work so terribly on the weapon, since those inevitably tie down players to certain locations. You really want to lean into the faster playstyle with this weapon, so honestly burst bomb would probably the be the perfect sub for this. Either killer wail or missiles could work really well, something to consider is that this weapon struggles a lot with backlines and personal entry tools, so missiles is much better in that regard, however wail is by far the better continuation tool, which is important for this playstyle. Overall I still like the kit and think it would play in a very unique way, I just don't think it would be that much better than our current kit, due to a lack of poking and combo ability. As someone who basically mains tent by now, I really like that kit. Stamp was good for that weapon, because the matchups on stamp and the matchups on tent make up for each other perfectly, so being able to change between the two per a matchup basis since you'll have it pretty much all the time is a huge strength. Only other sub I would give it is line marker, for the combos, movement, and location, but recycled already has that, and mines have a similar utility, so I'm overall ok with sprinkler. The splat brella kit is awesome. What it's current kits are currently missing is a way to enable the main weapon, since both strike and inkjet force you into a different state. Chumps are great for it not because you don't have to flare, they don't protect you entirely, but simply forcing the enemy to deal with multiple things at once mimicks the most powerful brella interaction, which is fighting alongside another player. That's why I actually kinda liked sprinkler for it. Only other thing I'd note is that rain is an obvious synergy too, since it also enables the main weapon with combos and paint while also giving you quick healing, which makes flaring much safer, but overall it's still a tossup between which one would be better. The undercover kit is a little confusing, but I'm still a little ok with it. So far within the series undercover brella has gotten a single supportive special (I wouldn't consider screen to be supportive since it doesn't really help your team most of the time, and its only real use is blocking sights to enable flanks), and kunder kit existing literally made the weapon viable at top level, so I think the importance of a support special is being underestimated quite a bit. Kraken isn't the worst for it either since it's still useful in team fights, but the main advantage of kraken is that it's a personal entry tool that can really enable aggression, and I just don't see that working on undercover past casual play, in which case the vanilla and sorella kits are just fine for aggression if you're only up against uncoordinated randoms since both have personal entry tools for specials. It could have a number of different supportive specials, I think vac and wave breaker would be great if either were useful specials, ink storm or chumps could be awesome too if splat brella doesn't get them, strikes and crab could have some kit redundancy because there are similar kits to those in the game, but still good, but honestly I think just giving it tacticooler makes the most sense. It's the best special for a reason, because it can be used at pretty much any time, and helps your whole team, which is exactly the type of special a support weapon really wants. Splat bomb is perfect for it also.
  • @Phyc_ck
YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT THE INKSTORM ON THE SPLATBRELLA IT CAN HEAL IN THE STORM WHILE FIGHTING 🤦‍♂️
  • @ollie09_
these all seem like really solid kit ideas, but i feel like they'd need a bit of fine-tuning in parts to properly fit what you want from them. excuse me if i get a bit rambly here but im going to offer how i'd improve each of them below undercover: really like the idea of leaning into a more aggressive kit again but i think the special could be changed to better fit with how the main weapon plays. i'd change it to killer wail 5.1, which while t doesnt offer the protection that smth like kraken does, it would massively help with ucb's killing power, making it be much more reliable in fights. that + splat bomb would be a nasty combo i think tent: i fw the idea of a close-quarters aggressive special on tent quite a bit tbh, and weirdly i think sprinkler fits very nicely with the main! i think a better special option for the playstyle though would be kraken. as fun as stamp is, kraken would synergise a lot better with tent i feel, with it being able to play even more into that tanky nature while still preserving that aggro style. being able to activate it behind the shield too to stay safe during startup would be cool too brella: really like the idea of a paint-heavy splat brella, and i think fizzy achieves this very well while still just being an excellent cheap combo sub for it. only thing i'd change is chumps to storm, as i think the damage/paint being much more consistent would help the gun in general, as well as the new healing/hp recovery feature they implemented with it being kind of a godsend for the weapon. would help a lot more with stalling fights and such cycle: this is the only one i'd change completely. i can see how wall works in essence, but i feel like it really needs a good bomb/poking sub to apply the pressure it wants to. burst would be really nice on it for this reason i think, helping with its already crazy damage as well (while being very ink-efficeient, something the weapon stuggles with at the moment). to keep the survivablity aspect of wall though, i think booyah would be a really nice special to put on it. would be an excellent backup if you find yourself approaching a rough situation (which, lets be honest, happens quite a bit for cycle!) sorry if any of this comes off as harsh btw, im just weirdly very passionate about custom kits💔
  • @Kayne0744
I think Booyah Bomb could be a pretty good pick for Recycle, i think its biggest strengh is getting in and be able to get some kills consistenly so booyah bomb would help it keep the momentum and gain some selfless armor when in a pickle
  • @SorellaKez
As a 2 mil turf competitive brella player, id play the hell out of that super chump kit, and i think a kit like that would have a decent niche in this midrange AOE meta. Like- I kinda want this now.
  • @slushiefang8140
I always love theory crafting weapons kits too. The example for the recycled brella is actually close to what I would like, ink mine and chumps. Ink mine to help the brella for close encounters, while the chumps help with painting ahead for its team. The tenta brella I would have changed the sprinkler to an auto bomb. It's not a reference sub, but can be used to poke the opponent and to create 'noise' while fighting it. I would find it interesting to hear more about potential kits on other weapon classes as well. Rollers, chargers, bow, maybe even the semi-automatics. Even if it doesn't look like we will get third kits a surprise update of 3rd kits later down the line would be a surprise to all.
  • @Iga_Bros
Ok so I wanna try this too and give every brella a second kit based on my experience as a brella main while giving my thoughts on your suggestions. So for Undercover Brella I sort of get your idea to really lean into the aggressive play style the weapon seemingly likes to follow. But if we're being honest the main weapon is too weak to be considered a slayer and to frail to be considered a skirmisher. It's made to be a support, not that easy to kill but won't kill you fast either. Vunder tries to… I don't know what it tries, mines are fine on a support weapon but slider is just brute force with the only utility being zones cheese so nothing the main weapon can really capitalize on. Sunder tries to be an aggressive support, the most fitting role, with a perfect secondary weapon in torpedo but a special weapon that, while not bad, doesn’t enable the main weapon to be better at what it does. I get why the devs put it on but at second thought cooler would've been way better to fit it's role. Now I'm not disliking what you did with undercover but I think it really needs a kit with perfect synergy to be viable. Splat bomb and kraken are suited better for other brellas in my opinion and as I already started writing about it cooler is likely mandatory on this weapon because of the insane synergy recovering your shield for every assist you get, so basically for every kill your team gets while cooler is active. Also as we all know cooler strong. I'd give it burst bomb and cooler to make it as aggressive as possible while providing a bit more paint and quick damage than with splat bomb. Direct burst hit + one brella shot also kills. Tent is a difficult choice. If you asked me yesterday I would've said line marker kraken is my dream kit for tent. But as I thought about it for a bit kraken has even more synergy with a different brella. As other people already pointed out line marker also has a lot of synergy with tent. But we're honest again: line marker is bad. So to make up for it I thought it needs a strong close range special since we got the perfect kits for longer ranges already. I think vtent and stent are actually one of the best if not the best tent kits to exist in splat 3. While kraken might be suited for this role it does have some flaws like being really vulnerable when it ends because the main weapon is rather slow. I know many people like you actually want stamp on it like in splat 2 but to me stamp is way to inconsistent against high fire rate weapons, the ones brellas are supposed to counter, to be a great option. Especially considering you suggested sprinkler which doesn’t make up for stamp's inconsistency same as marker. I came up with a different reference kit: stent from splat 2. Like I said tent already has near perfect kits so if the more aggressive kraken kit is going to be on another brella, tent should just get a fun kit. Stent's niche in splat 2 was to shield itself like crazy and provide area denial with curling bomb launcher. If you look at splat 3's crab tank weapons there are only those that basically need to back up to use crab effectively and those that already fight at mid to long range. And yes Chara says wall + crab is a bad idea but tent alone isn't even that strong so just imagine. No weapon would be able to position itself as aggressively to use crab as a tent with splash wall. The only way to fight crab is to shred it or approach it from the side/back. With enough shields and proper positioning this should rarely be an issue. Like I mentioned just a fun kit. As you said in the video Splat Brella already has a perfect kit so it will also get a fun kit. Your kit is perfectly fine, I have nothing to say against it other than that I'd give fizzy to another, now obvious brella. Chumps are also a solid option but I definitely prefer ink storm. Especially with the recent buffs I want to see ink storm on a weapon that is basically made for it and thats the splat brella. Shielding yourself while healing faster sounds so nice since it enables the main weapon itself to be threatening instead of giving you an ink jet to enable with your brella. Splat bomb then was the best solution I came up with. Fizzy and splat bomb aren't an option, suction is worse than splat bomb for it and this weapon definitely needs a bomb. Yeah I basically already spoilered my vision for the Recycled Brella 24 Mk l, fizzy and kraken. In my humble opinion and experience rebrella is a mid range skirmisher launching one shield after another to keep the enemy busy while threatening them with high damage and compared to the other brellas long range. Let's start with fizzy. Rebrella likes paint, a way to poke at a distance and a combo tool for close range since close range is it's weak spot. The tight shot spread and the fact that you can't kill someone in one shot makes fighting at such short ranges difficult. That's why you need a bomb to keep enemies at range but also to combo with if you're forced to fight someone up close. Ok now it gets theoretical. Tent and rebrella are able to walk into enemy territory much more safely than any other weapon because of their shield launch. Kraken is more effective the closer you are to an enemy when activated because they have less time to react. While tent is slower at approaching enemies than rebrella I think there is another, more important reason rebrella is so perfectly suited for kraken. If you're fighting a tent you're backing up and take your time shooting the shield because it's the most threatening at close range and the shield has tons of hp so just running it down is almost never an option. If you're fighting a rebrella you're being aggressive because rebrella is vulnerable at close range and the shield is easy to shoot down. That means in theory rebrella pulls enemies towards it by nature making kraken way more threatening as the enemy has to change their plans by 180 degrees in seconds the moment after you used your special while also still being busy shooting down your shield. I bet many people will be baited into a position that makes it way harder for them to react properly to when you activate your kraken. A quality I think no other weapon has to such a degree. Does that actually work in praxis? I don't know but in theory it sounds awesome. Also after kraken ends like undercover rebrella can open its shield way faster than tent. Now to wrap this up your kit. I don't like splash wall because rebrella prefers to fight way too mobile for wall to work and missiles are just missiles. Maybe actually synergistic offensively but don't provide any help at close range, like I mentioned the weapon's greatest weakness in my opinion. Still thank you for this video acknowledging the potential that still lies within the class, I enjoyed it!
  • The best thing to give undercover is burst bomb. I also think it should have gotten either storm or Tati-cooler.
  • @7nat7
One thing you cannot do is the Recycled Brella 24 MK II because it doesnt have a second kit 😭
  • For the undercover I would've preferred... Angle shooter Zipcaster Hear me out here. This build emphasizes on assassin type gameplay advertised by Sheldon. The Angle shooter helps keep track of enemies at long distance, whereas point sensor would have to get in range. A 170 zipcaster combined with the shield makes it harder to be sniped mid-zip. Chargers can't do anything. Tri-stringers can do slightly more.
  • @Blazingchase19
If you don’t mind could you do third kits for chargers?
  • @gierasole
i think your kit for recycled brella is redundant because the recycled brella already has big bubbler to replace its actual shield
  • @Aether_26
I like your undercover kit but I would prefer to have burst bomb and ink storm considering that now it heals
  • @CATLOAFMAN
Long comment incoming I really like the splat brella kit I am doubtful nintendo would actually give it fizzy but chumps seem like they would be really good Im mixed on the tent kit I think the kit would be fun however I doubt nintendo will make it happen because it already has a super aggro kit I personally think they will give it wave breaker because imagine trying to shoot down a wave breaker that is behind a tent or imagine fighting with a active wave with tent it just makes too much sense (also keep the sprinkler) That undercover kit is potentially interesting...? It wont make undercover great or anything but it would be quite fun And for Recycled brella 24 mk II I was against tenta missiles at first but after thinking about it for a bit it does make a lot of sense BUT if you wanted to play more to the Bambrellas strengths I think Tri-splashdown would be a better fit it keeps people off of you when you have it which is huge because bambrella is really rough in close quarters combat I dont like the splash wall personally the sub anchors you down too much for me kind of like how big bubbler is a problem for it Personally I would like a combo sub... but they already gave it one so I think splat bomb would be best because it can keep people off of you in close quarters and it combos and its just a good sub Sorry for long comment decent video you got here!
  • @KNGDDDE
Wasnt ultra stamp faster in sp2? Stamp feels wierd in this game, like ur moving through Playdough For tenta id say fizzy inkstorm or wave breaker. Burst bomb and stamp would be sick Sprinkler splashdown for the memes... They just need to let us customize kits man. Solve all these problems
