    Correction: Apparently "power posing" has been completely debunked. I was unaware of this when I made the video. While I do not believe this negates the validity of the "what's good for the body is good for the mind" sentiment, there are definitely stronger studies I could have referenced to prove that claim. My apologies.

    The best advice that has worked for me so far is "don't spend so much time aimlessly scrolling social media." You will feel SO much better after you start using internet 'actively' (less shorts and scrolling without intention). You can find information, watch movies, read books, listen to podcasts, find art etc etc as long as it's something you sought out and have to actually focus on. Not to mention you will have time for other things and hobbies too, which you can do now, as you have more energy left.

    Just a quick recap here that I did, I think the tips are helpful: 1. allocate 40-1 hour before bedtime for the body to fall into slumber 2. try not to use electronic 40-1 hour before bedtime, to prevent brain from thinking it is still daytime. 3. no coffee after 12pm 3. make the bedroom darker 4. use breathe right strips if need to, to practice nasal breathing, for better quality sleep. 5. train the body to be more active each day. the body will get use to this and eventually the body will be able to expend more and more energy each day.

  • 1. No caffeine after 12 pm 2. Circadium rhythm - no blue light before sleeping 3. Exercise 4. Customary effort in eating (avoid packaged food, sugar, drink more water)
  • I just want to say, I love how you state that the answer is pretty much the ones we always hear. That's the thing that I love about film and stories. A lot of people cringe at the messages of love and friendship in writing, but they're all so true. We just hear them so much that they fly over our head. If you go into them in detail, you break down a word into a system of not thousands of words, a LIFE, a WORLD full of words and messages. Absolutely brilliant. I'll always appreciate hearing a nice "one smile changes everything". Great video.

    I drink about 4-8 cups of coffee a day. It's a part of the finnish culture. At least 2 cups in the morning, then during work and school, especially lunch coffee, then a couple cups after work. Sometimes also "evening coffee" at like 6pm. And if you're visiting someone, like a friend or family, they automatically brew coffee for everyone. Caffeine addiction is just in our culture. :D Another thing, we Finns live in darkness for over half of the year. The sun gets up at like 10am and goes down at 5pm. In Northern Finland it doesn't come out at all. So during autumn and winters we are very tired. We get a revenge during summers though, when in the north the sun doesn't go down AT ALL for the whole summer, and in southern Finland it goes down for like 3 hours at 1-4am. Finland is... weird. But I love my country and culture.

    Honestly the single most important thing for having more energy is having something in your life that you're excited to do. Having something you're looking forward to when you wake up makes a gigantic difference. Unfortunately, having something to be excited about is easier said than done.
