That’s really cool! Whoever the young man is, his apprentice or son, is very fortunate to work for such a master craftsman! Great video, I wish I could afford one of your beautiful knives! 🙏🙏💪🙌🙌

  • @RiskaGilang
Thanks for sharing this video, really amazing, may good bless you,
  • @Gabola
  • Beautiful to watch. Super control of his tools and environment. I would love to study under him. He has alot of experience. I guess safety glasses are for children only. Thanks for sharing.

  • repeating the same gesture thousands of times necessarily leads to perfect mastery of this gesture. It is within everyone's reach. Especially if it's just flattening bits of steel and grinding them to make them look good. That doesn't make the best blacksmith in the world, though. I worked alongside the blacksmiths working on the gates of Versailles and Place Stanilas in Nancy, and it was a different level of difficulty! They made balusters following the slope of a staircase and extremely sophisticated, three-dimensional scrollwork, with absolutely magnificent curvatures and foliage, and not simply flat blades. To do this requires decades of study and a love of a job well done, as the old masters of the forge had. There they were high quality blacksmiths and perhaps even the best in the world!
  • great work, I have a question for you: what do you dip the blade in in the forge? what is this material? Some the melt? Borax? thanks
  • I'm a 68 year old American man. About 30 years ago I took a weekend Blacksmithing Workshop from man who Blacksmithed for a living. He made mostly practical items for Ranchers and Farmers like wall hooks and hinges. I had so much fun. I took right to it. Even did a Pineapple Twist Pattern. This man is on a Master Level. Brilliant. So much Skill and Knowledge.
