Horrible plea deal. Sixteen years? For murder? No justice here for this lady!

Neighbors saw her face down and motionless in the yard with him on top of her and NO ONE CALLED 911?

Put this man in jail for his life! He gave her the death sentence all by himself..he deserves NO MERCY.

What. In. Thee. Hell. SIXTEEN YEARS?!?! That's an insult to the victim and the prosecutor who made this deal should be fired. Her life was worth a lot more than 16 years. If you murder someone, at a minimum, you spend the rest of your life in prison, period. Prosecutors and judges who offer and sentence criminals to ridiculous plea deals need to be fired. Take it to trial if they don't want to admit their guilt. At least then they can be sentenced to life w/o parole. This is a disgrace.

16 years is an insult to the victim and her family! Plea deals should be illegal!

16 years???????????? Are you kidding me?! That is NOT justice!

Why the heck didn't the neighbors who saw him on top of her in the backyard say something at the time. Maybe she could have been saved. Better to be embarrassed at being a nosey neighbor and wrong than letting someone be murdered

16 years? That's a ridiculous sentence for murdering his wife!

WHAT!!!! Where is the Death Penalty. Shame on the court system, shame on the prosecutors.

We had a woman jogging run over by drunk in a pickup. He went by, ran her over, turned around, looked her over and drove off. While he was eventually arrested, it has been very quiet and I understand he was released after the booking. This is in Maricopa county. The man’s dad works at Phoenix PD. Why is this murder being treated so different? Shouldn’t they both be behind bars?

If you’re thinking about leaving a guy , whether it’s a husband or a boyfriend, don’t confront them. Just pack what you can and get out and go no contact if possible. I don’t know if this is the situation but if you confront certain people, especially a covert narcissist and again I don’t know if he was one, but people can be extremely dangerous and snap. Don’t threaten them. Don’t back them into a corner. Just find a time when they’re gone and leave. Be safe.

Typical lazy prosecutor. Excepting or offering that kind of plea deal is a slap in the face to the victim and her family.

WHY DIDNT THOSE "NEIGHBORS" THE ONES TO CALL IT IN INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THE COPS TO ASK ABOUT HER?
  • @chrislj2890
The judge should throw out the plea deal.

16 years is a joke , you get more than that for killing a grizzly bear
