Sometimes I wish Red Redemption 1 wasn't Canon just so John can get a happy ending
-
Best part of the game is riding back to shady belle after you get off the boat from Cuba …..I mean gwarma

Skinner’s were lucky that Uncle had Lumbago

I really felt micha was so clearly the bad guy it would turn out to be like a red herring. I was kinda waiting to be surprised not that he WAS the rat but rather he WASN’T.

The proposal mission never fails to make me cry

I love how the whole game you're denied every chance at a satisfying confrontation with any of the main villains. Colm, Cornwall, Bronte and even Milton get unsatisfying deaths that really just leave you disappointed and hollow feeling. But it all changes in the final confrontation with Micah. He's the only one that you get to personally pump full of lead for what he's done and it beautifully releases all that satisfaction that you were denied throughout the whole game.

The epilogue was freaking incredible, if anything I wish it was longer
-
Idk why but "..... I ain't.. got too much to say anymore..." is one of the most poetic lines I've ever heard in a game

I’m a John Marston fanboy. RDR1 and RDR2 are my favourite games of all time. John is my favourite protagonist ever after Indiana Jones and the epilogue of RDR2 is incredible for me. It’s literally pure fantasy service for us RDR1 fanboys and it’s not rushed or anything. It’s really well done. The full story of John Marston at least for me, is the greatest story in gaming.

i think i would have cried even more in the scene when John asks Abigail to marry him if he said " It would mean a lot to me." That would really show how much Arthur's sacrifice meant to john.

“Just you left, is it?” “Yeah, just me.” With American Venom in the background Is enough to explain why the epilogue is so good
-
This is genuinely one of the best rdr2 videos ive watched
-
I absolutely love the Epilogue of Rdr2. It’s a whole other Red Dead game of it’s own. I really wish John had listened to Abigail.
-
"I gave you all I had" still hits hard in 2024.
-
I love the epilouge because you can finaly get the satisfaction of killing micah. Awsome videos btw
-
The emotion I felt when the American venom music kicked in was amazing one of the most emotional part in a video game I’ve ever played
-
The saddest part to me of Abigail leaving is she couldn’t have possibly written that note without help. Jack is already constantly in the middle of their two bickering, and now he has to write this note to his own father from his mother. Jack Marston has got one of the saddest stories in a real-world setting.

31:39 Hahaha I had no idea Sadie says this if you check on her! “I will shoot you, if you stay here any longer!” 😂😂😂😂

i didn’t like the epilogue initially but you’ve completely changed my perspective. I feel like the pronghorn Ranch section dragged but it dragged for a reason to show how much effort John would put in for abigail
