Laney looked gorgeous even before her makeover, her glasses really suited her. They should have called this movie "She's Already That!"
  • i like how nice the girl doing the makeover is, she’s not rude and is pretty nice in telling her what she wants to change. She at the end even says “but not improved” because she already looked good

I love that every 90s makeover of an "ugly" chick simply involved removing her glasses
  • I enjoy how Mac says “new, not improved but different” cause Laney didn’t need to improve and Mac recognizes that. Sure she looks different but Laney is still Laney and I like that
  • The dad’s reaction to the soccer kids cleaning, “Who are you people?” 👏🏽🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • Laney was beautiful before her makeover. Mackenzie just showed her how to embrace her beauty and get her to open up and come out of her shell. Zack was the one who got her to break some of her barriers. It wasn't until Zack saw how vulnerable Laney felt that he was genuinely in love and didn't care about the bet.
  • It wasn’t so much of it being a makeover for Laney, but more of how she carried herself and how that makes an impression to others.

90s makeover - take off glasses 🤓 Makeover completed. 👹

Fun Fact: Milo Ventimiglia has a small part as one of the varsity jocks who cleans Laney's house.

I absolutely love Rachael Leigh Cook. I loved her in She's All That, Josie and the Pussycats, Perception, Carpool, Scorched and Get Carter (2000). She's my favorite actress, childhood crush, spirit animal and queen. Rachael Leigh Cook is love. Rachael Leigh Cook is life. Rachael Leigh Cook is all that.
  • Milo Ventimiglia randomly entering as one of the cleaning boys❤❤❤

I keep thinking of Not Another Teen Movie - Laney literally took her glasses off and let her hair down.

somewhere out there, there is an alternate universe that Freddie Prinze Jr. would play Captain America
  • I appreciate Zack pointing out the reason he didn't want to accept her as the chosen one, wasn't because she was unattractive, cause clearly she's not. I also like how after her makeover everyone still recognized who she was because afterall it was only a haircut and contacts. Sometimes these makeover movies make it seem like they're seeing totally different person.
  • does anyone else find it super attractive when he says are you ready?
