Lucius cannot see Asta in the future, because Asta is anti-magic. That means Asta is the wild card

I love Yuno and understand this is the last arc but I wish Tabata would shown characters especially Yuno at least one moment how they got the idea for a new spell or the training they are going through to try a create or control this new spell.

I know Asta has Zetten and Yuno's mana zone is insane but it would be interesting if Asta later creates a anti mana zone with a perfected union essentially shutting down everything. The level of his attack is already wide with what he uses to kill the (dragon?) In Yami's home and that thing is like the size of a city so i think it would be reasonable to assume he can create an anti zone the size of the clover kingdom. I don't know maybe I'm reaching a bit. If it turns out Lucius does make yuno a Paladin. I fully expect his appearance to be similar the released forms of Ulquiorra.

So Tabata finally figured out that the only way he can Nerf Asta is by making Yuno stupidly overpowered and giving him The Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Got it....

I think it doesn't matter how strong yuno is because asta anti-magic zone could erase yuno mana zone and also I don't think yuno could do anything against anti magic although I think yuno might be faster so it will be a good battle

i like how lucius views yuno and asta differently just like the kingdom did. lucius viewed asta as a flaw and unfit to be in his "new world" while at the same time he acknowledges yuno enough to call him his rival (not in the same sense like yuno's relationship with asta but more like he just knows how strong yuno is). just like how everyone believed asta was a magicless nobody and yuno was a prodigy but this might be a stretch idk. also the parallels between patry vs julius in this fight is nice, 2 guys with 2 souls of different heritage fighting eachother but the script is flipped

One interesting thing I’ve been thinking about for a while is how hate or negative emotions makes devil powers stronger. When asta was fighting Dante and he thought gauche was killed, his black for spread more across his body and he became way more powerful, and Dante specifically pointed it out. We also kind of see when asta first unlocks his black form that he flashes back to his bad memories and then it starts growing on him. This scene also later shows asta looking like a complete devil with both wings and and horns fully grown. Maybe if we’re to go off the assumption that yuno dies or is turned into a paladin, asta will go into full rage mode.

The theory of Lucius manipulating licht’s son’s soul into Yuno could explain why he was the only person born outside of the clover kingdom to get affected by the reincarnation spell

Asta is a different breed, he'll get the upper hand against him, and I stand by it!
