The Brits are so professional in everything they do. Respect from the Pacific.

Regardless of your stance on the war, it's undeniable that these men are professionals of the highest calibre. Mad respect.
  • I served two tours with 42 Commando Royal Marines as an interpreter in Helmand province, Afghanistan. The Royal Marines are true professionals and the toughest soldiers in the UK military. I miss those brave individuals I served with on the frontline

Much respect for our allies in the UK from me here in the US.

Several of the US Marines participated in the Royal Marine Commando training in the 70's and 80's. I can tell you from firsthand experience it truly was a challenge. When you receive the beret and that entry into your perminate file you'll turn heads at every duty assignment during your career.

Nice to see a young lad leading from the front, not scared to close with the enemy and give clear and tactically sound observations and orders.

I supported RM Commando units in Helmand and I was continually impressed with their ethos and professionalism. They were the most elite of troops and yet never needed to shout about it, this was one of their most admirable characteristics. Even under the most trying of circumstances they were always relaxed and joking away, being around them was very reassuring. Great documentary…..

I've just seen Orlando Rogers has died, I'm fucking gutted and I've only seen him in this documentary. Taken too soon fella, RIP.

This Cinematographer is an Honorary Royal Marine. He Qualified and conquered the Green Beret.

As the father of a RMC, I make no bones about it - I'm pleased he "missed out" on Afghan. But from his perspective, they train alot and just itch for the chance to put it to use. Totally different mentality and I'm proud of him

These guys are absolutely bad ass but i love the British “Hey lads, can you move down to the low area”. Just polite ask. ;-)
  • @morzee94
That's what I assumed but after looking him up no, just a very well respected British Documentary maker who always works alone from often dangerous locations to show the public a world they'd never normally see. Massive respect.
