In ā76 Debbie was 31ā¦.Doesnāt look like a day over 20 ! Her voice is dreamy and breathy perfection, yet she smoked. Very beautiful yet a wild child look. The girl was and is, a paradox. Add to this her amiable and agreeable interview personality and it is hard to think of anyone today who comes close. A shout out too for the bandā¦it all just came together perfectly. Love Blondie.

Growing up in Australia in the 70s & 80s I remember when "Molly" Meldrum first played them on 'Countdown', the weekly music show he used to host. Like so many others I was smitten equally by Debbie Harry's beauty and talent. It took me over 35 years before I saw the band live but I don't think I will ever forget it.
