I’m Dr. Dana Brems, also known as Foot Doc Dana. As a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), I treat everything from trauma including broken bones, other sports injuries, foot wounds, calluses, thick or ingrown nails; you name it! Being a #doctor is a serious job, but we can have a lighthearted side too. That's why I created this channel- to make medical themed #shorts / #TikTok videos for fun, while also helping to answer your questions.

Actually, it works. Always reapply sunscreen after swimming, even if your sunscreen is "waterproof" or "sport," it's a bunch of nonsense. Always reapply.
  • @stevej6824
Wow, a product that actually might work they way it’s described.
    That’s actually great news.
Especially with these exceptionally hot days we’ve been having on the west coast.
I live in Santa Cruz, CA and it’s an abnormally hot 98 degrees today.
Thank you Dr. Dana for doing this review πŸ‘

Ooh this looks great! MELANOMAS BE GONE! Although here in the UK, we've had just one day of sunny summer (33C / 92F) and it's back to mostly miserable British weather lol -- EDIT I completely agree with the comments saying you need sunscreen however sunny it is, because you still need to protect yourself from the UV rays!
  • @TwlightDutch
Someone tested them with non-spf moisturiser and they also changed color
  • @V_4_Versace
I’ve seen other people try them though without sunscreen and they just turn every few hours no matter what you put on them. So if you put tanning oil instead of sunscreen it would still turn translucent then purple again a few hours later lol. It seems like they work more as a timer than an actual way to tell if your sunscreen is wearing off.

Please do more of these videos. I really need foothealth vids
  • @sumv5773
apparently these turn transparent with any cream even if it has no spf in it

  • I’ve been using these for a few years on me and my kids, they are such a great reminder!! I bought mine at Walmart
  • @mr.trollz796
    It looks cool, but

Infinite sunscreen glitch if it never turned
    purple

"Hmm I don't remember that being an update in any games.."
  • @eden..w
guys don’t buy it i tired putting just plain night cream on it to test it out and it went clear
  • Question.. Did you test a non spf lotion to see if the results were the same? How else would you know its the spf keeping it clear and not something common in regular lotions and creams???
  • @FIRING_BLIND
As someone with albinism, this is really great to know about!
  • @0RoarRoar0
How about for different skin tones? I could never lay in the sun for an hour - sunscreen or no sunscreen... πŸ˜
