GT5 - 24 hours in 24 minutes

Sooo, back in the middle of June, I raced the 24 hour Le Mans race in Gran Turismo 5. I recorded every minute of it, since I wanted to make this video, however, a six week vacation meant that it took a while before I could actually render it all together. Now I'm finally done though.
1 minute in the video is 1 hour in the real race. I also added some music, since it would take forever if I also had to render it with the game sounds (for various reasons). If you don't like it, then just mute the sound.

decided to do this race in f1 car. 5 hours in realized i had no head lights. I've been driving for almost 5 hours in the dark. i could probably complete a lap with my eyes closed almost.

I did the 24 hour race in GT5 over about 4 days, pausing it to sleep. I also gained enough of a lead to leave it running parked for a few hours... They released the patch to save during the race like a week later lol.

Or in gt4 you can race in the day and let b-spec race the graveyard shift and go to sleep. Why would they take that out of the game.

I get very angry when i see this cuz it reminds me... I spent about 23 hrs on a-spec mode doing this race, then 42 minutes left, i get a power-cut. What annoys me more is that power-cuts almst never happen where I live :(

haha i like how on the final lap there was 45 seconds left and you didn't want to do another lap so you just waited and did burnouts until the time ran out XD

So, did you actually drive the whole way by yourself, or did you get some friends over and pass the controller around?

The new GT is killing dynamic weather and time cycles guess we'll be doing 24 hour races with out the sun going down...

I watched the whole thing it take for ever! I drive for like 4-5 hours straight every day but i feel shit after it every day! Well done this man!
