The type 63 was a different design from the SKS it has a rotating bolt that looks like a SVD bolt and it uses a 20 round mag that is not interchangeable with a AK.

It's worth mentioning, you can remove the plastic magazine well on the ace and it will except drums just fine. Also some good aftermarket stocks and handguards available.

I agree with you that the Galil Ace is pretty much the apex of what the AK could ever be. It's simply awesome. I'm glad you included it!

What a coincidence that you posted this now. I stumbled across the M10x by accident online recently while shopping for an AK and was immediately interested. Having never heard of this rifle though I’ve been trying to do as much due diligence as possible about it before purchasing. I love that it solves the optic mounting challenges etc of a traditional AK but still gives me the things that led me to shopping for an AK to begin with. Thanks for posting.

Love you guys video. For the record the ks47 gen 2 does have a ar10 bolt sized for 762x39 and a ar10 buffer tube. Excellent weapon

Thanks for the sks my dudes. I had one 25 years ago and did the external mag mod and it was so unreliable (maybe tapco magazine related) I gave it to a friend of mine. I guess he did something to make it run better. That rifle has killed countless hogs and several coyote. It's his feed truck gun and its rusty boy. He treats it like a horse he doesn't like man, rode hard and put up wet.
