It amazes me as an ICU RN that I see many of these patients everyday. But only alcoholics get B1 and Folate supplements. No one else. As I’ve been learning over past 6-9 months is that many of our diagnoses can be treated with a more holistic approach. Going against big pharmaceutical companies philosophy. And profits.
  • Living the nightmare of wet, dry, and GI thiamine deficiency right now. This has been the most challenging health issue to get diagnosed that I have experienced. It mimics so many diseases. I just had the bloodwork for the serum B1 test yesterday; unfortunately, until I watched this video, I didn't know that there's a B1 deficiency test at the cellular level called ETAC which is even more accurate. I will continue to advocate for myself and I will go down swinging if I have to. Lord Jesus help me please. 💕🙏
  • It's amazing to me that doctors will give meds that cause B1 deficiency .... but will not give B1 or tell patient to eat B1 foods ...
  • Thiamine is water-soluble, which means it has trouble crossing the fat layer that forms the outside of each cell. Benfotiamine is the fat-soluble form that is easily absorbed into the cell (3 to 5 times more easily), where it is converted into thiamine. Because benfotiamine is more bioavailable than thiamine, it provides higher levels of thiamine within the brain, liver, kidney, and all muscle tissues.
  • I took 750mg of Benfotiamine after about 3 months of blurry vision. I’m type 1 Diabetic. Next morning I woke up with crystal clear vision. Lower stress and much more energy
  • RN nurse (London) woke up to big pharma 3 years ago and it was a big HALLELUYAH MOMENT 😅😅😅. Thank you Dr Osborne and all the other doctors such as you for educating us. • I stopped going to allopathic doctors years ago. It always seemed like their advice, prescriptions etc. would do more harm than good. I've been recovering since. Thanks for the great information, presented with a depth and breath that is most useful.
  • @webbtherapy
I have personally found help with two of my important health problems by taking B1. It has helped with my sleep apnea and overactive bladder.
  • @cgg2961
Allopathic Doctors need to take a Nutritional Therapy Course from You and Dr. Eric Berg.... Both of you are wonderful Teachers. Why don't Allopathic Doctors know these things or if they do why don't they share this information with their patients. What a game changer to know this... Thank you so much !
  • It should also be mentioned that many minerals, especially Magnesium are critically needed as cofactors to make Thiamine function properly.
  • Bobby from Missouri. Learing always about my bodys ability to heal itself. God is Great

Another ICU RN here and I’m seeing such an uptick in “autoimmune “ dis-eased humans. Thiamine mainly prescribed for alcohol abuse with no B1 levels ever checked. Only B12 , folate levels are being checked around So Cal area hospitals. Thanks for this enlightening information 🙏🏻come to think of it, no Vitamin C given for sepsis either 🤷‍♀
  • I've been struggling with health issues since September of 2022. It hit me like a rock! I've been to the ER and finally was able to get health insurance. I had edema in my left leg. Trouble sleeping. Brain fog. Blood pressure issues. Sudden random dizziness. Intestinal problems. Mild depression. My leg swelled up so bad that I'd have to rap it from my ankle to my mid thye . Im 48. A waitress and work long hours. So eating healthy and enough food has been a battle. At the ER I got diagnosed with Sciatica. I did have it but it was the result of the edema. I was given a steroid ,muscle relaxers and pain killers. It helped but it returned as soon as they weren't available anymore. As soon asI got my health insurance I scheduled an appointment for a doctor's appointment. The staff were amazing but after my visit I didn't feel my doctor was truly listening to me. I explained everything and the journey I've been through and after her exam she took some blood work. When my results came in I ,after my own research, shared it with my holistic doctor friend. She listened and was way more concerned about my doctor's approach and my blood work. The doctor ,after my physical exam stated I had injured my leg and that was the result of my pain and swelling. I knew this was false because I could feel something in my tissues. I know my body. My blood work showed my cholesterol was a bit high for my age. My platelets were just above normal. The doctor wanted to put me on muscle relaxers and a staten. I didn't pick up the prescription from the pharmacy. I was determined to figure out what was wrong. All my symptoms pointed to one thing. It's a B1 issue. As soon as I took it within an hour literally all my pain in my leg and swelling was gone! I have an un diagnosed celiacs disease. I know now that cheating isnt worth it anymore. It blows my mind how something so simple can destroy your livelihood! I wish more doctor's understood how nutrition plays such a roll in your health. Prescribing meds should be a last resort.
  • High blood pressure for 10 years, anxiety, high pulse rate, tachycardia. Not ONE of the many doctors I consulted mentioned Thiamine. 😡😡😡😡 All they can do is prescribe medication to artificially lower blood pressure. They don’t look for the root cause. 😠😠😠😠
  • " Auto-immune disease is caused by triggers" 100%! I started the carnivore diet (minus dairy) 12 weeks ago and haven't suffered a single symptom of my auto-immune conditions. I also reversed my pre-diabetes. My quality of life has done a 180 as my anxiety and depression lifted in less than 2 weeks. I am still supplementing my B vitamins as well as D and A for awhile as they were severely depleted on my plant-based diet.
  • The synthesized vitamins added into cereals ACTUALLY DEPLETE YOU OF THOSE VITAMINS!
  • Wow...I wish doctors knew this! I have PCOS and I took Birth control and metformin...then i spiraled after a car accident and giving birth to my daughter. I now have severe PCOS, chronic fatige, fibromyalgia, so many hormone issies, insulin issues and so much more....i am living a nightmare. I have ordered b1. Thank you!
  • Doctors made me very sick in the past. I was so sick that I almost died of epilepsy. I would react to most of the drugs, so I started reading the scientific litterature. I cut gluten, slowly decreased the antiseizure medications (following the guidelines of each drug company) and adding supplements. Today, I take supplements, period. No more antiseizure medications... No more seizure either.
