  • After seeing your garage I haven’t stopped thinking about building dragracing cars
  • Just a hint if u see this. On ur storage container Add some ventilation fans. U can get some to kick on at certain humidity or certain temp to help with the humidity because it will definitely have condensation inside.

Wow you're so lucky a certified electrician could come out on such short notice. He did a really fantastic job

It’s a steel container. You can weld some brackets to the walls and build your own shelves. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Definitely cut a couple small angled down vents on one of the sides or the back. Caulk around it, etc. That thing is going to be a damp microwave in those Florida summers, probably ruin some parts/materials.

Paint the inside white and add lights so you can see better when you need to , great job
  • @TimothyKepner
Your going to be surprised just how fast a 20 foot container will fill up. Plus knowing these containers as I do you will probably want to coat the roof with a white coating and It will help to keep it cooler as well

When I was in HS I had a container at my dads work where I stored my motocross bike and parts. I could spend hours in there wrenching, listen to music and just hang out by myself. It was the best getaway ever. This makes me miss those times!

Wyatt's new 'bedroom' just needs a coat of paint,a couple LED's to see with, and hooks for his hammock.
  • @Jeremy-Biggers
Paint the outside of the container with koolseal and it will keep it from getting as hot in the summer. You should probably add extra ventilation as well and maybe an exhaust fan. We did this to one of our containers and kept it around 100-110 degrees in the middle of summer.
  • That's what I like about this channel, he is a humble dude even with 1.3 million subs. He shows that the broom and shovel still fits his hands. Not sure about those Crocs though!! lol

I love watching shop upgrades I think you should film putting a coat of paint on it and filling it up and organizing the actual shop afterwards
  • Make sure you buy some shipping container vents. Those things are flippin' ovens when you close them up. I have a fan on one end of mine and I have vents in the doors. Good luck!
  • Setup shelving down the end on all three walls. Carry the light stuff furthest in. Store all your engines up the front.
  • @Sacrosanct7
You could put up a little roof behind the container to protect the stuff back there a bit as well
  • Kyle you also need to make up some storage dollies racks for the engines & heavy parts. They are basically a steel rack with flat tracks for steel wheeled dollies to roll back & forth on. Let's say you have several engines lined up on dollies where you roll them out to get to one engine at the back.
  • I'd say put a tire rack in the back behind the container, then either a couple pieces of sheet metal or a tarp going from the container in a downward slope to the end of the tire rack, and you have a whole space for tires and whatnot that won't get 'as' wet.

I'm over here hardly wanting to drive a small truck over my field, and this guy is trailering that unit in 😅 hope it doesn't give you any issues! Keep up the great content 👍
  • Kyle, get another container and put it on top of that one and then a platform and stairs going down in front of the existing shop with a gate at the top to load stuff up there with tractor or forklift for more storage
