Roadway to SEA Airport reopens after pro-Palestine protest; 46 people arrested

A group of protestors blocked the roadway leading to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Monday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, all lanes of state Route 518 at Airport Drive were blocked just before 3 p.m. and the roadway reopened at around 6 p.m.

According to Perry Cooper with SEA, 46 protestors were arrested. It is not yet known what they were all charged with.

    Deport anyone involved who is not a citizen, like this uber driver. Did you see the man on crutches having to hobble down the road to catch his flight?!? 3rd world conditions. Outrageous and inexcusable.
  • Arrest is not enough. They will just keep doing this unless there is a serious jail time. Law needs to be updated.

    They hurt their cause, how dare they disrupt people’s lives, they have no right. Their cause sucks anyway bc Israel has a right to defend themselves and have tolerated more than anyone should have to.
