So what happened to Galvatron in the Michael Bay movies? I take a look at the most likely explanation and my thinknig into why its not actually that much of a problem as it is made out to be.

People are easily forgetting that the reason why Galvatron acted up on the highway chase and his fight with Prime, Was because Megatron was slowly taking over the Galvatron body. That also may explain why he didn't fight Lockdown when he first arrived.
  • I think it makes more sense when you say that megatron acknowledges himself as galvatron because KSI's programming is still kind of in him. After all they made the body for him. You can see that scene earlier where ksi's control room are affecting how galvy fights optimus's while he tries to sneak in his own free will by firing 4 rockets out of his truck instead of the 2 or 3 ksi wanted him to fire, and how they were able to recall him back to base when lockdown comes. You can hear his frustration as he's doing it And yeah it is believable that quintessa did the job for megs due to how much of him are man-made material with a man-made name, which would disgust someone who's trying to kill earth whole hence putting him back to his cybertronian roots and not a being made from humans Other than that galvatron's low screen time in AOE was such a crime. That design was siick
  • It’s still quite unfortunate that Hasbro and Paramount completely disregarded Galvatron after AOE I was really looking forward to his return he could’ve been so much cooler than Megatron but all these movie companies know how to do is disappoint the fans they didn’t even have to bring back Megatron they could’ve just redesigned Galvatron and call it a day

    A. The fact that Galvatron had zero interaction with Prime in the climax of AOE is ridiculous to me. He was built up to be a big bad, and after his fight on the freeway did next to nothing. I don't even remember him fighting in Beijing, just commanding some orders and running away. DO SOMETHING!!! Criminally wasted in the final half of the movie, it's almost like they forgot about him. B. Considering Quintessa is "The Great Deceiver" it doesn't surprise me that she'd come to Earth first to start her master plan of destroying it (and Unicron) so she could rule Cybertron as her own. Sure, she had been involved in Cybertron's past, as shown by the murals on the planet and her Knights all being Cybertronians who abandoned the world, but I highly doubt that she is the "creator" of anyone on Cybertron, especially Prime. And that's probably where she ran into Galva-erm-Megatron, promising him great power and yada yada if he joined her, and as a gift she reformed his body and sent him on his mission. She then took to Cybertron and started heading to Earth. Conveniently, Prime's message at the end of AOE was heard by her and she formulated a manipulation strategy to turn him to her side with all her witchy goodness, as a backup plan if Megatron failed her. So I don't doubt that she was involved with Megatron on Earth initially before travelling back to Cybertron. Hell, maybe on her trip to Earth she even secretly froze Prime in space so she wouldn't have to rush her plans since we know for a fact that Cybertronians can fly around in deep space without issue
  • I liked the Galvatron design. I dont know why Bay felt the need to change hus design every freaking movie.

TLK is one of the most confusing movies ever. I agree with everything in your video though. It was most likely Quintessa. Bay seemed to have a thing for Megatron being subservient that really didn't make much sense. In the first movie he was an unstoppable force, but in rotf he was just a guy working for the fallen, then he was sentinel's bitch (Carly's words hehe), then he was a human creation, then he was randomly just one of Quintessa's thugs. Why?
  • What do you think of the new transformation? Like the pixel thing?
  • I actually think the opposite. The original galvatron was literally just Megatron with a new body and new name. While this galvatron is the reincarnation of Megatron, with new powers, new voice, and new motives. Hell, he doesn't even have the exact same memories of Megatron. Why they didn't stick with galvatron makes no sense to me. It was a really cool concept that was basically thrown in the trash
  • What they should have done... In the beginning of the last night...Galvatron retreats but finds Unicron and then he gives him a new body and removes the KSI prototype technology and should have given him his new minions like they did in the 86 movie
  • @LordZolric
If they wasn't going to stick to the original story from the animated movie in 87 they should have made Megatron and Galvatron the same at first but then splitting off into two different characters. Honestly that what I did as a kid when I played with my Transformers heh. Great vid. 🤘🏻
  • Or... Michael Bay completely forgot about Galvatron's existence and decided to revive Megatron with no further explanation

Spoiler Alert: After the event of The Last Knight, Megatron became a Top G.😂
