This book was published in 1909 - James Allen (28 November 1864 – 24 January 1912) was a British philosophical writer known for his inspirational books and poetry and as a pioneer of the self-help movement. His best-known work, As a Man Thinketh, has been mass-produced since its publication in 1903. It has been a source of inspiration to motivational and self-help authors.

This book made me realize how kind the universe had been to me. And how lucky I am to be where I am now. In retrospect, the consequences of the misfortunes I've had, were thought, observation and introspection. I was and am, truly blessed.

More important than all of this is to try not to take life too seriously. It is only temporary after all, and will be over before you know it. Treasure your family and close relationships, and support one another, smile, laugh, create, and HAVE FUN.
