Ahem...back again after 3 years because ATLA inspired me. The live action had it's faults, but I genuinely enjoyed it and Iroh and Zuko were incredibly well done.

Update: I hear you all on the music being a little loud. Unfortunately, I didn't really notice the imbalance until it was on YouTube. It does help if you're wearing headphones. I really appreciate your feedback, and I'll make sure to test the next one before I make it public, which will be coming soon! Thanks for watching!

I just want to say thank you SO much for the amazing reception on this video! It's my most watched on yet, and I didn't expect this at all. ALSO, WE'RE RENEWED FOR SEASON 2 AND 3! More videos to come 🥰
  • The twist that Zuko crew is the division he fought to protect is actually quite a nice touch.

Zuko and Uncle Iroh were by far the best portrayed in this adaptation. The 41st storyline was also a great addition, it solidifies the crew's loyalty/appreciation to Zuko that was perhaps missing from the original animated series.

I thought the scene where zuko gives iroh the medal and sits with him instead of leaving was absolutely perfect
  • Lt Jee and the 41st role in this adaptation was an excellent addition

"Lu Ten would have been proud to have you as his father" ~ Prince Zuko

Can we talk about the transition of Zuko walking jolly and happy to a miserable, scarred version of himself. He's just doing the right thing. 😢

Mr. Mako would be extremely proud if he could see what an outstanding job Dallas and Paul Sun have done

Don’t care what nobody says the live action is a 8/10 for me and I want a season 2 NOW

This show didn't missed when it comes to establishing Zuko and Iroh's relationship and background. I'm happy we got to see more of Zuko's story before his exile. Can't wait for season 2
  • 🎼Leaves from the vine falling so slow like tiny fragile shells drifting in the foam. Little Soldier boy comes marching home Brave Soldier boy comes marching home.🎼
  • I love when zuko sat with uncle iroh during his son's funeral and also that 41st division storyline was an awesome addition

I loved the way they showed their backstory 🥹 A lot of people criticize the show for being bad, but compared to the movie that was made this was a lot better, and at least brought in some elements of the actual series.

Best relationship in NATLA. The father without a son, and a son without a father.
  • When everyone was bashing Iroh for mourning the loss of his son, zuko was there. While everyone turn their back on zuko, iroh was there. so good.

I cried so much when I heard Leaves from the Vine in the background during Iroh's flashback of Lu Ten's funeral. I am so glad they included it. I've been a fan of ATLA since it first aired, and I'm happy with the live action series. I think they did the story justice.

Iroh was always more of a real father to Zuko than Ozai could ever be. His love for Zuko is so real. Excellent portrayal of these two characters
