Episode 1 - My review of classic Doom, my most played game (well, Doom 2) of all time.
Two goddamn months of work. I'm proud of this video, and I hope you'll enjoy it too.

FAQ:
Q: Why did you play on HMP instead of UV?
A: I started out the project wanting to make the video feel authentic to the experience of someone buying Doom when it first came out. And naturally, people pick Normal as their most common difficulty option for any new game. I am skilled enough to play Doom on UV easily, but I was already halfway through the script by the time I realized this mistake. Sunk cost fallacy, y'know.

Q: You forgot to talk about items and powerups!
A: Yep. Oversight from me, but in my defense, the items are very self-explanatory and don't play that much of a role in the actual gameplay of Doom. They're important knowledge, but nothing you can't figure out just by playing the game.

Q: Where's Episode 4?
A: Maybe later, I don't know. People don't have good reviews of Episode 4 and I'm reluctant to do it. Maybe Episode 4 and No Rest For The Living in one video? Eh.

Q: There are a ton of continuity issues! (no one will say this)
A: I played Doom twice, the second time up to E3M5 (watch the video to see why) because the first pass of footage had sound effect pitch randomization and lower bitrate, so I rerecorded just in case.

Q: Why did this video take so long? The editing seems so simple.
A: Procrastination, ADHD, and MAGIX Vegas. Mostly Vegas.
