During the conversation, Peter added France's argument will be that "people will resist being returned" to the country, which could make it a dangerous situation for people.

So it's deemed too risky to intercept these people who are coming to Britain illegally. However, it's not too risky for the British people to have mainly young men on their streets that we know nothing about. Double standards.
  • Returned 😂😂😂😂 these guys have spent a fortune getting here and they know in the long term Britain is up for grabs … with the British paying for it 😂😂😂😂😂
  • For paying the French half a billion Pounds it should have been stipulated that they take those that have got into British waters
  • Surely they have to stop them it must be a massive security risk. They could stop them through stop sending the RNLI out to bring them here. This country is a laughing stock
  • IT’S THEIR CHOICE TO COME …YOU’D ONLY NEED TO DO IT FOR A FEW WEEKS AND IT WOULD STOP ..REFORM WILL STOP THE BOATS ..NO OTHER PARTY HAS A BACKBONE AND STRENGTH OF CHARACTER TO DO THIS ….VOTE REFORM TO GET OUR COUNTRY BACK 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🩵🩵🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
  • If the French think that any action at sea is unsafe then they should stop anyone leaving. Instead they condone it.
  • No one is trying the returns based upon the idea of risk without the faintest evidence behind this assumption
  • Question: If I set off to sea, with a leaky, un-provisioned boat, totally unsuitable for the journey - HAVE I THE RIGHT TO BE EXPECTED TO BE RESCUED by having a sitting safety net to catch me when I fail. People have to take responsibility for their actions and folly. STOP THE RESCUES - make it clear, they set off don't expect a freebie, fast trip midway.

Every boot on our shores cost the tax payers £45,000, which council taxes have to rise to cover.

The French are still sore after the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and the Battle of Waterloo in 1815

Yes and all these homea labours going to build for migrants tell one thing? Who's paying the rents, who's paying thd council tax, who's paying the lecky gas water on them. The poor old british taxpay as usual?

84 million quid will buy African leaders nice cars and mansions maybe even a plane. But you wii not see any of the peop,e get it. A bit like Live Aid millions went missing and that was Africa
  • If the French take our money thay must accept the illegal immigrants be returned that escape there imaginary net. Otherwise whats the purpose!
  • @SassyO100
Why would the boats stop? The gangs have a key selling point ie it’s safe as you get escorted by the French to the midway mark and the Brits will take over from there. Minimal risk in comparison to previously.

Correction they NEVER left French waters
