I hate romcom cuz always alwayssss is thhe man how at the end run and beg to the girl and take all the responsability for whatever problem they have, even if he doesnt do anything wrong

I thought the sequnce was 1 girl meets guy 2 girl gets attracted to guy but does not relize it yet 3 both fall in love 4 girl fights or conflicts with another girl for no reason 5 they have a dumb conflict that is never resolved and they still get back together

But I mean they're not all the same. In The Switch for example the story evolves around two friends who have known each other for a long time and only realize in the end that they love each other.

Most men dislike romcoms for the same reason most women dislike pornography, it’s unrealistic in a way that is off putting. Real love and/or sex does not happen in the way these movies depict them. Not to mention they reduce one of the most beautiful things we can experience in life to a series of tired and predictable tropes.
