Oh no, he's playing classical music.
-
Friend: “So, do you like classical or electronic?” Me: “Yes”
-
i love the wheatley chambers just because of glados's snarky jabs at wheatley and him trying and failing to come up with a clever rebuttal. "fatty fatty no parents" immediately comes to mind
-
Fun fact Machiavellian is a reference to the Machiavellian theory which states it is better for a ruler to be feared rather than loved, fits with how Wheatley acts at this point in the game.
-
Wheatley: "So, uh, not a moron..." The facility: screams in chernobyl
-
I love how it slowly transforms from harpsicord/piano to synthesizer :D
-
J. S. Bach - Little Prelude in C Minor BWV 934 is the real name of this piece, in case anyone wondered :3
-
"Ohh, now he's quoting dialogue from the game."
-
Next time my teacher calls me a moron I'm going to yell: "MACHIAVELLI!"
-
My favourite part about this is the fact that the even synth portion keeps the same disjointed baroque style as the original bach piece, it's so well done. I also love the irony in this part of the game in Wheatly reading Machiavelli and not really understanding the connection between what The Prince is about and what he's become.
-
The fade in at 1:58 is just too perfect.
-
And thus was the slow descent into madness made into an auditory experience.
-
"Ohh, he's playing classical music..." It just happens to be the chamber right after GLaDOS called Wheatley a moron...He's trying to look smart and proper...LOL.
-
the way it shifts from classical to blippy techno soo seamlessly is amazing
-
Faith plates are very classy
-
I love the line delivery and scene concept and everything about this bit, but I think the most interesting part is that GLaDOS actually is well-read on human literature and philosophical canon. Especially with The Prince, which is about ruling and argues for the "means justify the ends" mentality. She's studied it and he's only just flipped through it, signifying again how incompetent Wheatley is as a ruler compared to GLaDOS.
-
I love how the song slowly transforms from classical to techno
-
In the portal universe, this piece is powerful because it is a symbol of Bach who, in that timeline, died 50,000 years ago, yet is still remembered, and by tangent, is still alive!
-
(Pages turning) "Oh, sorry. Hope that didn't disturb you just then. It was the sound of books. Pages being turned. So that's what I was doing. I was just reading, uh... books. So I'm not a moron. Anyway, just finished the last one, the hardest one: Machiavelli. Do not know what all the fuss was about. Understood it perfectly. Have you read that one?" "Yes." "Yeah, doubt it. Well, on with the test. Wish there were more books! But there's not."

A beautiful song from a godly sequel to an epic game.
