I find myself sobbing for people I’ve never met, a baby donkey who got swept away, lives changed in a just a few hours. Oh DeJay… I’m so sorry, I could feel your heartbreak. All the animals that had no idea what was going on or how many were displaced makes me sob more. Daniel, I could hear the despair in your voice. Bless you for helping your friends and town.

I’m heartbroken for y’all and the loss of the baby donkey, and all of the devastation to your community. Sending prayers of strength, encouragement, and comfort to y’all and everyone in your community.
  • I follow a guy on TIkTok. The night before the storm he said they were expecting some heavy rain. The next day, he went to his Uncle Denny's house in Sulpher and half the roof was gone and the other half was picked up and turned sideways and set back down. Everything the older Uncle had left was ruined by the rain after the tornado. It was do sad. He lost nearly everything he had, even his clothes. The Mennonites came and was removing tree debris, the Red Cross came by with meals that the Baptist Churches had cooked, college and high school students came and went through his remaining belongings and saved what they could. Truly the best of America.
  • Hearing your donkey calling for her baby reduced me to tears. honestly you fared better than most i'm sure you're counting your blessing.
  • You see Daniel and DeJay y’all are trying to help others even though you’ve suffered a loss. Who does that? THE ARMS FAMILY! 👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️

The arms family could’ve sat at home and did nothing and recovered, but instead they decided to get their equipment help out. That’s how you know they care for people👑

I went into shock when I heard that Sulfur was hit and destroyed. We thought about and started praying for Sulfur, the surrounding area and all of Tornado Alley and especially for the Arms and entire family.❤😢

The fastest way to recover a disaster is to help someone else, you did the right thing. Prayers for your family and friends and town folk. Praying you will find the baby donkey alive. God's blessings, peace and safty.
  • I'm so sorry about Buffy. When I saw momma Felicia near the end of the video it broke my heart. Looked like she was lookin at you to see if you have her baby somewhere. Poor thing just doesn't understand, or maybe she does and is so sad herself. I'm so glad you had your grandma with you, and she's safe along with your family. The devastation to your property from the flooding was awful but amazing! Mother Nature is truly something! I know you'll probably never see my comment with everyone else's comments, but I just want to tell y'all that yes, you did do and are doing something to make someone smile. You jumped in and helped where you could with clean up and posting where to send donations. Y'all are amazing! I hope EmmaLee will try and have a good 16th birthday. Praying for everyone in and around Sulphur. God bless 🙏🏼❤️
  • Daniel, you showed up to help your community, you made people smile because you showed up…you cared…you put their needs above your own…through the darkness you showed up and I’m sure that helped to change their world for the day.
  • I hope you know that tens of thousands of us stayed up all night keeping track of the storms and donating to worthy causes to help after the sun came up. You may have faced those storms alone but we were with you in our ❤️ 🙏 We're in Florida and have been through far too many intense storms and hurricanes. Praying for your town!!

Prayers🙏 for y'all! My homestead of 20 yrs took a direct hit from a tornado during Hurricane Laura in Lake Charles, LA in August of 2020. We lost 99 percent of everything. It was an extremely challenging time, especially during the height of what was happening in 2020. We're still recovering as it's been a long process. We're now living in TN and starting over from scratch. We were homeless for a little while and had to re-home our animals as a result. My heart goes out to y'all and everyone in your town and community. The priceless gifts are God's amazing grace to carry us through and the ability to come together and help one another. Many continued prayers for all affected!🙏🙏
  • Not much can be said, except we’re praying for everybody, those who lost a loved one, those who lost their home, those who lost their businesses. Peace.
  • @DebSueRed
That baby donkey was just too precious for this world. Praying for y'all
  • I have never even been to this town or met any of the people who live here and my heart is just broken for you all. I sit here and I can't stop the tears for all that is lost, from the homes, businesses to the dear sweet little donkey... God Bless you for helping where you can for your friends Keeping your little community in my prayers Much Love from Mid Missouri
  • How utterly sad…. My heart breaks seeing DeJay silently wipe tears facing the destruction. The enormity of devastation, loss of life as you both collect your fur babies and continue forward. The entire community is devastating to experience. Wishing Heartfelt wishes, love, support and condolences for all who rebuild their lives in extreme times.
  • Danial you did make people smile you went to town and helped clean up. Sir I would say you have a heart of gold.
  • Praying the baby is found somewhere somehow and by the grace of God is safe. I am so sad she is missing. 🙏❤️‍🩹🕊️✝️✡️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
  • What always amazes me about tornadoes is how one property can be completely destroyed and yet one beside or across the street can be mostly untouched. Thank you for helping your neighbours!
  • Your pride in your doughter made me smile. For the rest, we might not smile, but our hearts are warmed by the community's support for each other. Maybe there was some material loss, but I believe that more was gained on other levels. Where we live in South Africa, tornados are rare, but we are losing on social levels, with hatred and distrust. What is the value of material belongings, if you don't have faith?
