    I saw this movie- when it was new in 1979. As cheesy as it is.... something about the atmosphere is pretty creepy . The beginning and the very ending especially. This surprising movie has some distinctive firsts : 1) Aside from "WHEN A STRANGER CALLS", this was ONE of the first movie to be based on "urban legends". Well, the FIRST 2 stories are based on Urban Legends. Although the last story "Crazy Annie" - not sure what that's based on. It's also the weakest story. 2) This movie is one of the-- if not THE FIRST movie where teens go away to a creepy cabin in the woods. (!). 3) This movie is a favorite of none other than.. Quentin Tarantino ! He featured it at a film festival at his movie theatre in Hollywood.
