Ugh. Yet another case of Dan being amazed at seeing a game he's never seen before and an experience he's never had and what do we get? We get fuckin' Arin just playing through it all willy-nilly. Gee, never seen a standard Mario 64 Let's Play before. More of that, please. Or, hey, how about you let the guy who's never PLAYED it give it a try? Maybe give us something interesting to experience?

This is one of my favorite eras of game grumps, I’ve drifted away from gaming let’s play videos the past three years but I will always hold this era special in my heart. I rewatched so much of this era even during it.

I'm glad that I simultaneously grew up with 2d platforms, 3d platformers, and other pc games like Baldur's Gate and Starcraft, whereas I think a lot of people grew up with specific kinds of games and so adapting to different games can be a hurtle. Like my hurtle would be first person camera games (like fps, for example) because I didn't play any of those as a kid and the camera feels weird to me.
