Baran is truly an excellent actor.... the writers of Kan Cicikleri did a great job picking Baris Baktas as the main character. No one could have acted this role better than him. Not to mention that he is a very good looking man with a very beautiful voice. He is an award winning actor.

The only role model in this series is Baran. Growing up without parents, forced to be a father figure for his little brother, raised by a grandmother and an uncle who both poured poison in his young mind and ears, feeding him their taste for murder and revenge...he turned out to be an extraordinary human being, he always chose the right way, guided by his beloved mother’s memory and kindness. I started to skip the scenes with Dilan and Sabiha, they fatigue me mentally. Dilan started again to annoy me, so reckless, weak, who keeps lying and breaking Baran's trust...making the same mistakes...and I really don’t like her hateful attitude towards Seyit.

Tonight, I attempted to watch another Turkish Drama Series! First, I must confess that I have never watched but one other Turkish Drama prior to Vendetta. And I am sure that was approximately 5 years ago. I have to say, I was able to project the plot and the storyline of this new Drama within one episode. Immediately, I began to make comparisons to Vendetta. Fans, I have concluded that “Baran Karabey’s” character, developed and written by the Writers of Vendetta, and played by Baris Baktas, can not be adequately described. This character is so Powerful that he appears to carry the entire weight of the Series, manifesting strength that supersedes all of the characters in the Drama that are older than he is! Whoever gave birth to the character of Baran Karabey, as a Writer, Kudos to you! And, whoever found Baris Baktas to cast him in this Drama, you unearthed a charismatic figure, who will undoubtedly soar to great heights in the industry! This is my Perspective after 204 Episodes. Like many of you, I have watched every episode since the First and the pace of the series has been challenging to remain engaged, except for the presence of the character of Baran Karabey!
