  • Practically every house and appartment in Finland has their own sauna. That's considered as a norm here, not as a luxury, we've always had them.
  • @chickenface2348
I would say saunas are more like Finnish thing. We have them like in every home in Finland, even some small apartments.

Not me screaming for you to use the book nook kit shelves for the hallway to get the customized floor to ceiling look 😂
  • @twentysevenswans
i love when you start talking about australia and how things are different there than in other places. australian lore

I am BAFFLED by the way she put the shower in to the wall so it looks like the shower head is actually coming out of the wall. Why have I never thought of this😱 I am playing the sims for almost 24 years. HOW.

The terazzo flooring would be such a great addition to the base game

I actually love the dark hallway, it’s a very peaceful way to go to the bedrooms.

I’m from America(very close to Canada) and grew up in a very modest home that was built by Swedish immigrants in the 1940s. They made a sauna room in the basement and we loved it during the cold winters!

In Sweden its not very common with saunas in your house, but in Finland it is!! Almost everyone has a sauna, and even apartments will have them in Finland😅
  • @KaraNolting
I only discovered your channel recently and I wish I'd found you earlier! Watching you build and decorate has taught me more in this past month than I'd known in the 23 years of Sims playing. Your tips and tricks have made the game so much easier and way more fun for me. Thank you, Deli!
  • @AKA_Studios
I really like the window/screen between the kitchen and living rooms
  • My experience growing up in sweden is that plenty of people had saunas in their houses. Also some apartment buildings have shared saunas. Not particularly fancy ones but wooden, dark, basement types. Finland is the top tier sauna country though, not gonna lie🧖‍♀️

I would love to see you do an industrial look to one of the builds you do!
  • @hannahhill7478
I love this! I would love to see some commercial builds like themed cafes and stuff!

We do have an old real sauna in our house in Sweden (or bastu as it's called in swedish) but it's used for storage since for as long as I can remember. And it's not very big. Saunas is more of a finnish thing tho I'd say, even if I think all the Nordic countries use and like them.

Grew up middle-class Swede in a pretty standard house (in the 80's and 90's). I'd say it's more of a Finnish thing to have a sauna, but we did have one..and it was awesome.
  • @LinneaMejfeldt
It is common in the northern part of Sweden (where I live) to have a sauna in your house. But it’s even more common in Finland, pretty sure they even have championships in sauna bathing there 😊 I myself have an infrared sauna in my house but that’s not very common. The standard is a kind of steam sauna where you throw water on hot rocks that sits on the “heater” (the old ones you heat like a fireplace with wood but the most common now is electric).
  • @miniminou8333
I'm german, saunas are not as popular as in finland here. But my parents built one themselves in the backyard because my dad loves sauna and my grandparents have one in the basement. Both are by no means really wealthy, more like middle class or at the most upper middle class. But i don't know anyone else with a sauna at home lol.
