Hi! We're Nick and Jen, a retired military veteran of 14 years and professional dancer/entertainer at Coyote Ugly Bar. Together, we decided to sell everything and break free of the glitz, glam and chaos of city life to move off gird. We live on our 20 acres of remote land in the mountains of Southern Utah.
We’re trying to be as self sufficient as possible by installing all our own utilities and doing everything DIY with as much modern technology as can make happen. Quite impressed on how you overcome your fear. I am in the same boat, I don't like heights and I had used lifts in the past. I rather use scaffolding. You have wonderful kids and I can tell they love you. Keep up the good work. May you and your family be blessed.

So glad you went with the Boom lift Soo much easier to work as you have to go from side to side.!! I personally think you should Paint the White Vents to match in with the colour of the Green siding, ( should have small tin of touch up paint with the siding), If there were just 2 wouldnt be so bad, but the amount you have, Maybe paint them.!! Are you gonna rehire it if you run out of time??. Should have maybe did an Extended hire, maybe get Aeropress to pay for it, as you can drink Coffee on the lift. even as a home user one should always have on Safety fall protection . yes it can make it more difficult but ones safety should always come first. OSHA tell us what we need to ware for lifeSafety

Dudes when y'all rent lifts. Try to get whatever needed to be done. That can't be done off the ground. Like could have done the soffits all the same on the side. Unless you working off a ladder. Take everything you to get it done. Even a rope , so don't have to keep going up n down. And also see if the lift can handle the weight. Just drop the rope your helping hand can tie off the rope. Then just pull up. Great workout for the arms n shoulders. Work smarter. So gather all the materials you'll need.
