Viola Davis is a top tier actor. Put her performances up there with anyone, male or female. She is truly one of the all time greats

This interview was everything. Her discussion of colorism really hit home as a dark skinned Black woman. I suffered alot of abuse during my middle school years, I didn't go to the majority Black high school most of my classmate went to. I opted to go where the city assigned me where the population of Black student was very low. I never, ever suffered any colorism while I was there. I was part of a multicultural society where everyone just wanted to work hard, not worry about hair, clothes, or skin tone. It was such a blessing I ended up where I did, but I felt like an abused puppy at first.

Gem, after gem, after gem, after gem, after gem. I loved watching her ‘channel’ her highest self for those clear, impactful, and profound messages. She has always been serenely beautiful in my eyes, and as I sit here in tears and chills, I become even more grateful for Viola Davis.

The way she talks is like she is illustrating a story when answering each question. Each sentence is colorful, vibrant, and you can feel her emotion. Amazing!
