She expresses herself so eloquently. She exemplifies strength through trials and tribulations. I'm proud of you Viola.
  • Finished her book yesterday via Audible, she narrates it beautifully with her powerful voice, I laughed I cried, this woman is a true survivor. Do yourself a favor and read or listen this book!!!
  • I think “storytelling” is Viola’s calling. No matter what it is…. Movie’s, Award Acceptance Speech, Books, or Interviews… Sis is an amazing teller of stories. 🖤💫

"You haven't meet all the people who are going to love you in this life." Carrying hate and animosity will leave you unavailable. So you have to "let it go." "There is something about someone seeing you. And liking you." I simply enjoy AND love your work. Now the back story. Wow
  • There are certain interviews that remind us why the Breakfast club is such a staple in our culture. Viola is a legend and I'm happy we acknowledge that, even when award shows fail to do so. Great interview💐💐

"I don't know the definition of grace, only that it meets you where you are, and doesn't leave you how it found you"... " You are only as connected to others ,as you are connected to your self" ...How you love defines your life!!! Great job everyone, Viola's wisdom and the Breakfast club at its best. Thank you

This interview was everything. Her discussion of colorism really hit home as a dark skinned Black woman. I suffered alot of abuse during my middle school years, I didn't go to the majority Black high school most of my classmate went to. I opted to go where the city assigned me where the population of Black student was very low. I never, ever suffered any colorism while I was there. I was part of a multicultural society where everyone just wanted to work hard, not worry about hair, clothes, or skin tone. It was such a blessing I ended up where I did, but I felt like an abused puppy at first.

Gem, after gem, after gem, after gem, after gem. I loved watching her ‘channel’ her highest self for those clear, impactful, and profound messages. She has always been serenely beautiful in my eyes, and as I sit here in tears and chills, I become even more grateful for Viola Davis.

The way she talks is like she is illustrating a story when answering each question. Each sentence is colorful, vibrant, and you can feel her emotion. Amazing!
