  • That Cena-Michaels rematch on RAW after Mania is still to this day, one of the greatest matches on RAw.

I feel like I didn’t appreciate coach as much as I should have when he was in WWE back then

“Went from never drinking to drinking every night” my college freshman year experience in one sentence.

This interview gives me a newfound respect for Coachman; eloquent, great storyteller and really made it a point to give his all to this industry.

Drinking 9 nights in a row and still putting one of the greatest matches ever 😮 what a legend 😂
  • I remember that Triple H return on Raw. The building was electric and it’s crazy because he was a super heel before he left. It shows just how much fans appreciate the wrestlers who give their all to the business

Those 2 matches Cena & HBK had are absolute masterpieces

His mom was a middle school FACS teacher in Salina, Kansas. I was in her FACS class. Jonathan Coachman would comes back to Salina while he had a break and speak to us middle school kids in her classes. It was one of the coolest things of my childhood. I will never forget it. Mrs. Coachman was an amazing women.

Coach actually seems like a nice genuine guy in real life. You see so many people from wrestling can't switch their characters off but he actually seems friendly, when you consider what his character was like his entire run with the company its pretty cool to see him outside the character.

I watched that match live with HBK vs Cena in London. Incredible match.

I’d love to walk in to a hotel and find a wrestling ring set up.

Chris Jericho once said in an interview that Cena has an Iron level when it comes to Alcohol.

Coach played his role well, I always enjoyed him on screen honestly! & Chris is the man, the best interviewer! He comes off as such a nice guy too like, I just wanna be his best bro and buy him a beer or 2. Great stories always that we might not get in other interviews. Honestly, when you think about hollywood and 'fame' and everything, and how we envy the position some people are at, I can honestly say from watching years of CVV interviews that the man deserves every damn bit of success he's had and more! <3

Steve Gomez from Breaking Bad stepping in at 25 seconds and then backing out of shot was a nice Easter egg. We are filming here, Gomey!
