Chavo Guerrero on Dominik Mysterio Using Eddie’s Moves

I mean if anyone can use Eddies name outside of the Guerreros, it’s Dom. Eddie used an 8 year old Dom for heat which is why Dom can use Eddie for heat.

Are you kidding me? Eddie would be happy and proud to see Dom in wwe and showing respect to his Uncle!

It's clear that Chavo has no problem with Rey and Dom using Eddie's move to pay homage, but the problem that he's referring to is that the company probably doesn't, hasn't done, and probably won't pay Eddie's daughters for the merchandise sales and the usage of his name and/or his character. I don't think Chavo has a heat with both Mysterios, but probably with the company. At least that's what I get from this part of the interview. And he's right. Eddie's daughters should also get some paychecks when the company profiting something from their father. And he's also right, if anyone wants to use Eddie's in-ring antique, the only two that are okay to do it are Rey and Dom.

Eddie used Dom for a story. Dom can use Eddie for one.

I mean, Eddie himself said Dominik is his son. If Dom doesn't deserve to use his moves I don't know who does. I can see his point if he talked about every other person that stole Eddie's moves but not Dominik.

Considering Dom was involved in a storyline at like 8 to do with Eddie, it's only right if anyone was doing it, it's him. There's a reason to it and it keeps Eddie's legacy more relevant than anyone else's today. He's been gone for about 17 or so years yet he's always mentioned which is great.

the more chavo talks about eddie and people paying homage to one of if not their favorite wrestler, the more I think he wishes people loved him more after eddie's passing than they did rey... and everytime he brings up people getting payed a lot off it it gives me the vibe that he wishes he could've gotten over and profited off of it more like they did. I will say however, Eddie's family should definitely be profiting off him if they aren't already as that's what he would have wanted for his daughters

I mean the frog splash isn’t exclusively Eddie’s. Rvd used the frog splash, Montez ford uses the frog splash. The frog splash is used by various wrestlers as a near fall spot as opposed to a finish. At this point the only move dom does that Eddie used is the three amigos

The fact that the wwe still keeps eddies spirit alive means alot to a old die hard fan like me... because Now kids who never seen eddie go back and watch and love Eddie like He still here... and thats priceless man EDDIE FOREVER

If Eddie's children aren't receiving anything from his merchandise sales that seems wrong but Graceland is a physical property and wrestling moves isnn't one. And Dominik is simply playing the angle that Eddie started so Chavo's take is just weird.

Yes. Chavo is correct. Everyone should stop using moves from Eddie. In fact we should stop using long tights because Eddie did it. We should stop walking down the aisle because Eddie did it. In fact, once Jake the Snake is dead no one should use the DDT anymore. Bro, come on. Be serious. Stop being a bitter mark for Eddie and trying to justify it with “well, Eddie’s family….”

It’s part of his heel character, if you watched Smackdown last week when he wrestled and Rey was at ringside, Rey said “Stop copying other peoples moves, use your own moves”

Dominik gets paid for wrestling, not for necessarily using Eddie's moves. Chavo just comes across as bitter here.

Long story short: Chavo wants to be back on WWE TV.

Dom is just getting heat off of eddies moves, just like he gets heat using 619. Its a move and a taunt if u ask me, and seeing it keeps people talking, it works

Lost respect for Chavo during this. Awhile back he was on Twitter saying the same thing, and when everyone called him out for being bitter, he claimed in a later tweet that he was just working the fans to get heat and maybe start a program with Dom. Ok cool whew, good one Chavo! Then he does this interview and he says the same shit about Dom cashing in on Eddie's name. I agree his daughters need to get paid too but theres nothing wrong with Dom using some moves of his. Turns out, his bitterness wasn't a work after all, the man doesn't want anyone other than himself capitalizing on Eddie's fame
