SOME Things Tim Walz has got thru in his state! - universal school meals - carbon free electricity by 2040 - banned "forever chemicals" - stricter gun background checks - paid family leave (12 weeks) And that's not even all!! 🎉

I woke up this morning (on the east coast of Australia) to the news that Tim Walz would be Kamala Harris's running mate and thought, "Who is Tim Walz? Why didn't she choose one of the better known people?" After listening to that speech, the answer is obvious. He is a man of the people who knows how to speak to the people. He is gracious, humble and effective. This team gives me hope for the USA ... and the world.

I’m not even going to lie, he wasn’t my first pick because I didn’t know who he was but man, I am glad she chose him. After seeing this rally I think we just watched the first rally of the next President and Vice President of the United States.

People are going to love this guy! After 30 years as a high school teacher and 15 years part-time in college, I can assure you that this man was loved by his teams and students. We all have cause for optimism! Kamala really does know the “best people,” and is not likely to throw any of them under the bus. VOTE BLUE!

WOW I was filled with SO much despair a few months ago, what a difference a few weeks make. Not only was I SO happy that Kamala Harris is our new candidate, but she picked the perfect person for VP. I didn't know anything about Tim Walz, but I have a big smile on my face. I absolutely LOVE this man. So articulate. Normally I probably would not watch a VP debate, but I can guarantee you I will be now! GO HARRIS/WALZ We're NOT going back!
