the only calamity here is that the philippines has been experiencing this for decades and the politicians and the dpwh still aren't making a decent drainage
  • @gaiaaoi1005
We have to take note, we were suppose to be prepared (El Nino was so long). Then fyi, in 50 years, there will be areas that will be permanently flooded. Please be aware of this, there is a report on that before. I suggest you wise up and i also pray the government will actually use our taxes properly in mapping proper drainage and sewage drains 🙄 there are so many reclaimed areas and trash-blocked drains

the number 1 problem of my country is corruption, a lot of flood control projects but it still flooding Why? it means our officials in various gov't entity especially in engineering sector are just making money but not really solving the problem,, they are just usually "saying upgrading" the existing infra but no further study of the area
  • @Mirs1111

ano na kaya pag may subway na.. lalamunin lang yan ng baha... baka maging source pa yan ng malawakang sakuna pag biglang malaki ang buhos ng ulan ...
  • @Dwn2Race
Corruption as usual… Politicians request more money to “help” but will be pocketed…
  • @jenpot25
There are still barangays that lack equipments and people. Also Meralco and such companies should check all electricity posts and such, para mas safe sa mga tao.

The craziest thing is this typhoon passed through Taiwan But I didn’t touch the land of the Philippines...
  • One billion per day? I'm no expert but that should be plenty of money. Certainly considering how low wages are in the philippines.
  • @RoideNego
This has been a recurring problem decade after decade. I wonder why they can't think of a permanent solution once and for all. Instead of spending taxpayer's money every monsoon season for predictable evacuation and relief missions.
  • @PareBatoy
What happened to the 5k+ flood control projects?
  • @sputnik3258
