  • Thank you Brian for stating the danger of re-writing history. Human behaviour continues to evolve but if we ignore history, how on earth do we assess how far we've come? Thank you for this interview. I've been a fan since seeing Brian in the tv series - Therese Raquin.

I loved Brian Cox decades before Succession. Always stood out in any scene in any movie you was ever in before usually always playing secondary actors but there is something about him. Yes a humility in the humanity and a power combined with the trend of nostalgia and sentimentality can't explain it all but nice to see him having him doing so well and so fit inspired
  • @BrixtonTone
Have admired Brian Cox since I first saw hin in the late 70's TV medieval drama "The Devils Crown" . A great actor sadly unappreciated by many, until now. So good to see him getting the recognition he deserves
  • I've liked Brian Cox ever since I was 9 and saw Manhunter with my dad. He's been great in almost everything he's done. Loved him in Ironclad, Coriolanus, The Good Heart and so on... those are just the ones that stand out to me.
  • @Melanie_Star
Brian has one of best & most infectious laughs I've ever heard! Great interview, thoroughly enjoyed.
  • @julz63
I’ve always appreciated Brian Cox as an actor, but as himself he is utterly fascinating to listen to. He’s a straight talking , tell it like it is bloke, and I really like that in a person. I hope his theatre production goes really well for him ❤️

I haven't seen Succession, but I have always loved Brian Cox as an actor. He really gets deep into his character. Some of his "stand out" performances... Braveheart, Red 1 & 2, Bourne Identity, Rob Roy and many more! All classics and memorable movies. I would love to see Brian in a stage theatre production... no doubt he would be phenomenal.

Best interview I've seen in a while. I've always liked Brian Cox, the actor. Now, I admire and respect Brian Cox, the man.
  • @Belloqs
This is one of the best interviews with Brian I have seen. Clearly there's some friendship between him and Piers as the questions are intelligent and Piers isn't interrupting as he often does with guests he doesn't like!
  • Brian Cox is quite simply a Legend he has always stolen every scene he chooses to be in, ever since the Sharpe series. Legend
  • @SvendBosanvovski
Brian's autobiography "Putting the Rabbit in the Hat" is a great read and puts the measure of his success in real perspective.
  • @LM085
Brian Cox is such a brilliant actor. Only getting better with age like many others. I believe every role he plays. I forget he’s Scottish because he’s played so many characters who are American.
  • @tvolution1
His William Stryker is one of the best superhero villain performances
  • @Derceto00
Always been one of my favourite actors since I saw him in The Long Kiss Goodnight. This was a great watch.
  • @iamsheep
He's so awesome! Been a fan since watching Braveheart in the cinema and thinking, who is this guy? Amazing career and a great storyteller.
  • @lisabunnie22960
I only know him from "Rushmore", bt I was impressed. I'm glad to know he has great success . ..
  • @Alex-iq5bi
This is a nice change from the controversy. Just two sensible minded blokes having a chat and a bit of a laugh. The best video I've seen on this channel so far
  • @andrewjardine3924
One of your best interviews ever, 100% agree with Brian Total legend.
