This is a bit enraging.. Why has it taken SO LONG to study women?!?!?!
-
“Women have been having their period for a very long time” such a strange way to describe it.
-
Can we not get a list of the brands that tested positive? Or is it basically all of them?🤦🏻♀️
-
Actually, this IS a freak out moment. So tired of women being told to remain calm and not to freak out when anger is a very appropriate response.
-
THIS SHOULD BE PROSECUTED AND CRIMINALIZED!!!
-
Organic tampons have more metals ????? Wth. Why are women an afterthought? Ever since the finding of toxic shock syndrome- this should have been studied …😢
-
0:36 "how or if a body absorbs the toxic metals." - If sleeping on a flame retardant mattress absorbs chemicals in the body why wouldn't you absorb whatever is in the tampon through the vaginal walls...
-
Alternatives? They need to fix this yesterday.
-
The new study should be is there a link between tampons =fibroids=hysterectomy=uterine ovarian cancers??? Think about it ladies!! 😮😮😮
-
I mean, isn't the pink tax bad enough?
-
I grew up using tampons & pads for most of my life. Shocking!!! Why didn't they tell us about this sooner - instead of later???
-
ARE THEY GOING TO TELL US THE BRANDS
-
Thats a huge problem sounds like class action lawsuit to me they dont use lead in paint because its hazard to your health im pretty sure in fact guarantee lead in tampons is 1000 times worse same with archnique it was used in treated lumber they stop using because touch it with hand it absorbs in skin and causes serious health problems so yeah its a problem and they need held accountable for using those 2 substances alone so yes its definitely causing birth defects cancer and even causing mental problems not mention when they go land field for trash the environment its wrecked toxic metals and chemicals
-
They should be made with 100 percent cotton.
-
Polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene are all also used in pads; even the pads labeled as organic have at least one of these in their ingredients. The amount of plastics and plasticizers we ingest/absorb is insane. No wonder people have odd immune system issues and illnesses that they can’t yet explain the cause.
-
Release the names of these tampon companies!
-
How tf were tampons even allowed to be produced if they (the FDA) don't even know what tf is in it?! That's crazy lol but they STILL don't have the answers it sounds like omfg 🙄 like come on now, make it make sense.
-
With no Chevron deference, the company can do whatever they want They'll just wait until this blows over and continue on
-
Really annoying how nothing isn’t safe

Surgical grade silicone menstrual cups will last for several years, saving you so much money & from so many health risks. They even carry them @ Walmart now. I used one for a few years & loved it, but wished I'd found it sooner. I saved about $40/month! It ended my period poverty, since I also had a teen girl who loved them. I saved $480/yr.
