FFXIV Advanced UI Guide (Collapsible Hotbars)

Creating a collapsible hotbar can be confusing but with this guide will make it easy for you! Create macros(shortcuts) that's built in the game, and assign them to a "class" hotbar to be accessed on your current job. This will clean up your UI and allow so much more room for buttons and other customization you want! I hope this video helps you out and comment down below if you have any questions!

after 5 hours i finally got it, i spent 2 hours on the job bar, then once I understood that I got the rest in 3 hours. Really good guide, now my screen is less cluttered!

Instead of using gear set numbers, use "/gs change [job name]" if job has two words example Red Mage then it has to be /gs change "Red Mage" this is very useful for playing on alts and if they have different gearset numbers than your main and also eases a lot of headache.

UX / UI designer here. This is FANTASTIC to see (especially with using the D pad to make it pixel perfect)!! I play with a controller, so ALL 10 HOTBARS are available to me to use. I set 1 as the shared hotbar, and the other 9 are not, I then use hotbar 1 to choose exactly what I want to use for the other 9. It works differently than yours, but it's how i've used it, fantastic video my friend!!

I used to use shared bars to have ALL the things active all the time Now I have one displayed all the time that'll open for important system stuff, class changes, travel-related, relic-related (for tracking), food/buff related (which I may edit later), khloe/hunt-related, AND a one-push armory-sort Plus the "Target 1" sign And that's my always-display
