This for sure is the best explanation of the point system I have come across as a beginner. Thank you for the video. Really helpful.

This was the best scoring system expalination. Thank you for including the matc example video.
  • Great video, my guy. The only thing you forgot to explain is when players switch sides in a tiebreaker. Most people do not know that you switch sides every time the score adds up to 6 or multiples of 6. For example in a tiebreaker the players will switch sides if the score is something like 3-3, 2-4, 5-1, or 6-6. Other then that 💯💯..

How can you tie 6x6 game, if the first person to score 6 wins a set??

Thank you for this. I couldn't find any other source making the difference between a "winner" and a "double bounce" clear, and whether either of them or both counted as a point.
  • @HazardNY
How do you get 6x6 if the first one who wins 6 games wins the set and games starting to count from 0x0 ??

This is a real decent introduction to tennis scoring, but I notice in your live example at the end that the bottom player keeps serving during the entire game. can you please address this more clearly? once a server is chosen does he keep serving throughout the game ? in the next game does the other side start the serve and keep serving throughout the game? when does the server change?

Wait how does two players get to 6 by 6 in game because if a player gets to 6 I thought its a set and the games reset. Sorry for the wrong terms if I am wrong with any terms
