This project started with a total impulse buy from Doug Demuro's ‪@carsandbids‬ and everything went off the rails from there! I am determined to restore this ‪@lexus‬ LS430 to it's former glory. Taking it back to the pursuit of perfection that birthed it and beyond!

  • Hi there! I will admit I was NOT a happy wife when you decided to purchase this vehicle! Today, I regret those first feelings. This project has been an excellent reminder of the man you are. Your courage, knowledge and resilience. Your daughters and I are very proud of the work of your hands. Congratulations, Elf Mabrook and Felicidades. ❤

This mechanic deserves a gift from Lexus (Toyota). Maybe a flight to Japan to see a Lexus manufacture…
  • @EG-235
You’re a national treasure my brother.
  • @farr5431
You’re the first YouTuber with videos half an hour to an hour long I can watch without fast forwarding or just clicking something else. People have pointed out your automotive wizardry and knowledge combined with detective skills that makes a mundane subject to some very interesting But I think more important you are just an amazing presenter of information in an eloquent and coherent way without pausing and stammering. You really can tell a story well

This man is the Bob Ross of mechanics 😁. So fun and relaxing to watch
  • @smamq
This man is a gem in Car-tuber/Mechanic-tuber community. I'm excited for a chance to see this in person and meet him too

I bought our 05’ LS 430, 72,000 miles in 2019 $11,000 for our teen son as his first car, knowing he’d be in a solid car with enough power to learn how to drive and handle the v8. I drive it now as my full time car, and won’t ever get rid of it. It is the best car!!! It was such a find. Garage kept, couple vacationed months out of the year, no one had ever sat in the rear seats. Totally beautiful. Blue with cream interior.
  • I've never seen anyone else take the time and care to do the repairs that you have done to the LS430. I sure hope the car lasts another 625,000 miles. Thank you to Mrs. TCCN for her comment. It's easy to question a vehicle owner when that owner decides to take it to the level that this LS430 has been brought up to. The saying, "Take good care of your vehicle and it will take care of you" doesn't seem to be enough of a saying for this vehicle. The care goes way beyond that saying in a very good way!

"Lexus are so unreliable, it begins leaking 'Earl' and a strut begins to leak at 600k miles?" I can't finish this sentence with out cracking up! Great video CCN. This from a Former Jaguar owner😂🤣
  • @alexk81843
I find the repairs strangely soothing. I can watch for hours. With that said, I once changed a flat tire.

Grand finale saddens me, one of my favorite series. I own a ls430 that still breaking in at 139k
  • @EShelby2127
Thank you for being a surrogate for the stress that I felt 30+ years ago when I turned wrenches as a golf course greenskeeper, fixing equipment before the golfers started complaining...
  • @burntnougat5341
Always great to see a successful restoration keeping these older cars going. Now that's being environmentally friendly
  • @user-zt6ve8st3z
😂😂😂 I love your sentence : “This irrelevant piece, that means nothing” - it is acctually Toyota & Lexus invention to REDUCE the Cx coefficient (as desired) on the first LS 400 below 0.3! So it was and still is VERY important. And all the car manufacturers adopted it into their all cars. And now you and your LS430 have the brand new pieces ;-) Congrats! As always, Mr. Ahmed, beautiful work!!! Anyway, dear Mr. CCN, you made me again INCREDIBLY happy with your work on 600k mile Lexus LS 430. Many thanks ;-)!!! Love to watch this and cannot wait for the next part ;-)))

Ah, the Journey of Master Craftsmanship...the end result is so rewarding, but the true Genius of TCCN is in the Journey of teaching and sharing. It's been rewarding for many of us to watch a Master Craftsman be just that.
  • @kevinhearts616
that LS 430 v8 and that Toyota Century V12 is a MUST have collection in my garage someday!🙏 It would be nice seeing you have a series on that Toyota Century V12 like you did to the LS
