People laugh at transhumanists now. But wait until an enhanced woman goes into the mountains and creates an ice castle with her cryokinetic superpowers.

1. Achieve reverse aging/increased longevity 2. Achieve bio-mechanic synthetic emulation 3. Achieve integration with SAI. 4. Achieve Digital Copy of Personal Consciousness 5. Take on any physical or digital body-mind as desired.

I know the typical response is do it now, but if I do get an opportunity to even extend my life i'd definitely expand my education, whether, science or medicine.

My personality is basically mostly futurism-centred, i talked about AI years ago and people were laughing. Now ChatGPT is a thing so i guess they wouldn't be laughing if it were today.... Transhumanism will have the same path.

Trans-humanism and Post-humanism are considered to be the most dangerous aspects of western philosophy. Before we dabble in either, ethical aspects needs to be sorted out. Remember, past philosophers who tried to even think about these aspects went berserk, joined the Nazi party, became Eugenicists or committed suicide. This is not a simple problem but if we move forward without finding solutions, the first AI we make from a person, will also be the last. Read Nietzsche.

And....like always, someone will have the full control of this "great "technology ....not sure who will be this person but 100% sure that the "users "will BE technological slaves!

I think that A.I. will see that variety is what makes the Universe so unique and beautiful it is the spice of life it keep us exploring and discovering new things. One mind equals no enjoyment in the future because variety is key to a happy future.

Honestly, although some people consider this kind of tech super out there I’m inclined to say that it’s probably more likely to happen then some kind of terminator inspired robot apocalypse. That line of thinking seems rooted in a “fear of the unknown” attitude instead of any calm calculated decision making. This fits with our general philosophy of always pushing the boundaries of what is possible to unforeseen new heights. And do you really think we’re gonna let machines and AI outperform us for long? We’re way too egotistical for that lol PS- Number 20 is by far the thing I’m looking forward to the most though being able to fight apex predators hand to hand is a close second😎

I used to think this was a wonderful idea, but now I think the more humans move away from nature the more detrimental it will be for us 😢

There are some downfalls to think about before doing something like this.

This all sounds phenomenal, but then no one will be unique anymore. It will be boring & there won't really be a point to life. People will lose their drive. This all feels as if something big is about to happen, and this is a form of desensitization. That way, we will comply, & it won't be so shocking to us.

I would love to see a movie where the plot centers around a conflict between TH cyborgs, fully automated AI and genetically engineered (genes merged with those of other animals ) humans where each group is pitted against the other two. The conflict could involve political, ideological and philosophical differences as well as control over key resources. The setting could occur on Earth as well as other planets, space stations, etc… That would be a cool movie!
