Note: Botulism is not directly found in canned or processed foods, if not preserved correctly the food becomes a breeding ground for bacteria, including Clostridium Botulinum. This bacteria produces the toxin associated with botulism when it enters you body.

Best advice ever: if you start to feel yourself becoming paralyzed youd best drive as fast as you can.
  • I was eating nachos while watching this and just kinda paused and was like ā€œguess Iā€™ll dieā€ and just continued eating

Fun fact: when I was in college, I was in the physics lab store room and found a volumetric flask filled with mercury. My prof said that it was enough to poison the entire water supply of the state of Texas. There was at least two of them. It was more than somewhat disconcerting. I do wonder what happened to them when they later refurbished the science building.

Everyone drinks water and everyone dies. Coincidence? I think not.
  • 2:15 arsenic gets into ground water from old cemeteries which the deceased were embalmed with arsenic, which was the standard until formaldehyde was introduced.

Cool story about Strychnine, it used to be used as a medicine in really small doses as a stimulant, and was even given to one of the runners of the 1904 St. Louis Olympic Marathon for that reason.

Fun fact: Cyanoacrylate is a type of cyanide (I think) that was found in a lot of over the counter super glues. An extremely effective adhesive, was used in the war to close up wounds. Extremely bad for ones lungs and respiratory system. Most bootmakers (myself included) had repeatded exposure to it, (yes, in modern times) with little to no ventilation or cross flow.

Mercury is not 'found in metals', it is a metal.
  • The most potentially deadly substance is the food my ex would put before me. I escaped just in time.
