You saw the Star Forge get destroyed after KOTOR... right? Well, what if I told you that the Star Forge survived its destruction after KOTOR?

I cannot wait to see the grandeur of the Star Forge and the Rakatans in the KOTOR Remake - It's quite possibly what I'm most excited about! What about you? Let me know below!

"The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force." Darth Vader from A New Hope. The Star Forge and Darth Nihilus' Hunger are two of my favorite examples of that line.

I love that the Star forge is terrifying not because it’s a weapon of mass destruction but one of mass creation

I like to think the the First Order and/or Sidious found another Star Forge at Exegol and that’s how they built up an armada so quickly. I remember sitting in the theater during Rise of Skywalker and getting pretty excited thinking they were going to tie in the Star Forge and then feeling really disappointed when they were like “oh they’ve just been building them in secret forever”.

This is my personal theory: When Revan saw that the Star Forgr was able to create life, he realized that a portion of the light side persisted even in all of that darkness - as the Dark Side does not create, it only corrupts. So I think Revan had a long-term goal of ‘balancing’ the Star Forge, or creating a new Star Forge that was perfectly balanced with the Force - that could create planets, weapons, resources all that without worrying about the Forge’s corruptive nature.

It's interesting, in the Bane Trilogy when Bane is flying to Lehon Prime he notices a ring around the world that seems to be made of the scrap metal of the battle for the Star Forge. I have always thought that the Forge was close to being fully reformed at that point, and by the time of the Empire it probably would've been capable of constructing a fleet. The Star Forge is probably the most powerful superweapon in the Str Wars universe, and by far the most terrifying; I think the only superwepon that might rival it would be Centerpoint Station, command over gravity is a pretty serious power to have.

The Star Forge is my favourite superweapon in Star Wars just because of how versatile it was. It would never have the sheer destructive capability of something like the Death Star, or Starkiller Base. But it could quickly create a fleet so massive it was able to wear down the Republic to the point where they had to destroy it to win, because they were never going to win the war conventionally.

my favorite weapon was the mass shadow generator but the fact that the starforge is self sustaining and can rebuild itself is way more cool than crushing a planet with gravity.
  • The Star Forge is my favorite superweapon in all Star Wars. I would’ve loved to see more of it in action.

So the Star Forge is less of a factory and more of a energy to matter converter. E = mc2. Energy and matter are one in the same. A star produces a stupid amount of energy throughout its life, so it's perfect. Although the part about a small fingernail sized piece producing all that seems kinda weird to me.

I feel the World Devastators were a spiritual successor to the Star Forge in a number of ways. Mobile factories that eat up material taken from the surfaces of planets, and then use them for manufacturing craft or upgrading themselves.

"How to we blow it up? There's always a way to do that." - Oldman Solo
  • I always think that there was always more than one starforge, as if your a massive galactic empire you wouldn't put all your eggs in one basket
  • @thestanleys3657
An interesting story would if Jacen Solo had found it during the Yuuzhan Vong war and it's dark side aura was partially responsible for his fall to eventually become Darth Caedus.
  • @vonneely1977
It's long established lore that all Ratakan technology is self-repairing at a molecular level. Given enough time, even the smallest surviving pieces will regrow back into their original form.
  • @jackolantern147
I for one, would like a video detailing the life of the one and only Darth Vitiate. The one that caused the fall of Revan and Malak as well as the events of KOTOR.
  • @NobodieZ26
Cool, the Star Forge should be a future movie or tv series.
  • @AzraelThanatos
With regard to the Star Forge, it rebuilding itself is easy to see as Rakatan technology regenerates, as seen with the Star Maps. Perhaps the Foundry and Star Forge are back to their complete status by the time of the Galactic Empire
  • Just imagine if the Chiss Ascendancy found the partially built Star Forge in the unknown region. It could make for a great story but I doubt it will ever happen.
  • @TenchiBushi
The Star Forge was awesome! I wanted to see more!
